Love Is Blind is one of the most popular experimental dating reality shows. Numerous couples have found love and gotten engaged before meeting on the series, and one of the most notable happens to be Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed. However, they recently announced that they’re calling it quits after multiple years of marriage.

Fans will recall that Matt, 30, and Colleen, 29, appeared on season three of Love Is Blind in 2022, and they exchanged vows during the finale. Notably, they were one of only two couples to do so. Despite ultimately marrying, Matt and Colleen had their share of drama on the show. 

Recently, the now-former couple took to Instagram to release a joint statement about the future of their relationship. The emotional post began, “Hi everyone, we wanted to share something personal, and this is not easy to do, but after nearly four years together, we’ve decided to end our marriage and move forward on our own paths.”

The announcement then reveals that they didn’t just separate. It says, “We’ve been separated for some time now and have been doing our best to work through everything privately and with care. This was an incredibly difficult decision, not one we made lightly. It came with a lot of thought, and it’s been an emotional process for both of us.”

They also discussed having met on the show instead of through more traditional means, saying, “We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we’ll always be grateful for the love and memories we’ve shared. There’s not one thing we would change, and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another.”

Their breakup announcement concludes with, “Thank you to everyone who has supported us. We kindly ask for compassion as we navigate this transition. Colleen and Matt.”
