Mauricio Umansky feels he’s in a “tough spot” when it comes to wife Kyle Richards‘ ongoing beef with sister Kathy Hilton on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
After noting that the women have yet to resolve their issues, the Buying Beverly Hills cast member said he does his best to stay out of Kyle and Kathy’s family feud before looking back at a moment he was seen high at an RHOBH cast dinner after traveling to Hawaii for Camille Grammer‘s wedding.
“It is a crazy position for me to be in. And I, you know, you am definitely in a tough spot there,” Mauricio admitted to ET Canada of the tension between Kyle and Kathy on November 22. “And I think that I’ve stayed out of my the family dynamics, you know, from that perspective just on purpose. I guess I’m going to have to keep my comments.”
As RHOBH fans will recall, Kyle and Kathy suffered a falling out after Lisa Rinna accused Kathy of suffering a “psychotic” break amid their Aspen trip, during which she allegedly threatened to destroy not only Kyle but also Kyle’s entire family.
Also during the ET Canada interview, Mauricio looked back on the RHOBH cast’s trip to Hawaii, during which he was noticeably high during a group dinner with his co-stars, including Kyle, Lisa, Teddi Mellencamp, Edwin Arroyave, and Dorit Kemsley.

“God. I partook,” Mauricio confessed of the laugh-inducing moment. “We were in Hawaii. We were there for Camille’s thing. And, you know, we had we had a long break, and I ate some brownies that were made for me on the island.”
While Mauricio first felt nothing as he enjoyed some swimming and surfing, it hit him as he sat down at the dinner table with his castmates — and the RHOBH cameras.
“All of a sudden the cameras turned on and as the cameras turned on, like it just hit me like a it hit me hard. I was on it was on television and it was live and real. And it was it was hilarious,” he added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production in early 2023.
