Emily Hewertson, 25, has entered the Big Brother house for the 2025 series of the show. A political influencer and political events coordinator from Northampton, she is well-connected in the Conservative Party, having first gained popularity on social media during the Brexit referendum through sharing her opinions on political issues.

In her entrance VT, Emily said that people often believe that Tories “don’t have a heart” and she wants to change that perception. She also shared her desire to find a husband she can go to church and have children with, adding: “If you say you’ve never kissed a Tory, you’re missing out!”

She has an impressive 167,000 followers on X and has been involved in numerous events alongside many prominent Conservatives, such as attending Boris Johnson’s Christmas party.

Emily has also appeared on a night out with Nigel Farage and, despite being a Conservative, has praised him and expressed her wishes for the parties to collaborate in certain seats.

She previously told Express that she would “make a deal” with Reform to stand down in certain seats so they would stand down in others to avoid splitting the vote.

Emily also previously supported Farage on his own reality stint when he appeared on I’m A Celebrity, writing at the time: “I hope everyone gives @Nigel_Farage a chance on #ImACeleb. I don’t always agree with everything he says, but I can assure you he is a genuinely decent, top man. Have an open mind and just maybe you’ll be surprised.”

Last year, Emily was falsely accused of chucking a milkshake over Farage in Clacton-on-Sea, an OnlyFans model later took responsibility, but Emily said at the time: “I’m glad my name has now been cleared, but hope this is a lesson to thinking before you tweet.”

The influencer refers to herself as a “patriotic Princess” and has attended several prominent Conservative Party events, telling the public in her VT that she partied with Boris Johnson.

A source told The Sun that she “mixes in high-flying political circles and is friendly with a lot of the top Tories”. They added that MPs and staff are “likely to be concerned”.

However, she was praised for being “fiercely loyal and knows when to keep her mouth shut”.

Emily has had a lot of additional political appearances in the past, previously speaking on BBC’s Question Time, and working with Turning Point UK.

As she made her first appearance on Big Brother, she was welcomed to some “boos” from the crowd, as well as a mix of applause, but she’s been thrilled to take part in the ITV show, stating before going in: “I’m looking forward to meeting all the other housemates. Working in politics, I’ve met all sorts of characters, so I’m definitely used to a big range of personalities. But I just love meeting new people and seeing what they have to offer.”
