Fans were confused by the post, as Dani’s split from ex-boyfriend Adan Correa hadn’t aired until the following month after the release of Love on the Spectrum season 3.

After Love on the Spectrum season 3 premiered on April 2, 2025, Dani hard-launched her romance with Henry and shared how they first met.

“Like a perfectly timed plot twist in one of my own animated stories, someone completely unexpected walked into my life,” the animation queen told Tudum on April 7, 2025.

Dani told the outlet that Henry presented her a check gifted to DaniMation for autism awareness. Henry pursued Dani on a platonic level for one month while she navigated her recent split from Adan. Henry ended up asking her out, to which she accepted the invitation.

“For the first time in my life, I’m with someone who truly sees me,” Dani continued to the publication. “Not just as an animator, not just as an advocate; not just as someone on the spectrum, but as Dani. And that? That’s the best feeling in the world.”

Dani hard-launched her relationship with Henry the same day and shared more information about her romance.

“Finally, I can talk about it! New @Netflix article by #TUDUM out today! Yes, he’s 32, #Neurotypical, and a #policeofficer,” she wrote. “We met last October, and we are in an official relationship! More to follow!”
