As the Duchess of Sussex attended the event, she aimed to update the audience on her business initiatives, including her much-debated Netflix collaboration with Prince Harry and her ongoing ties with the platform. However, her sartorial choice stole the spotlight. Meghan exuded sophistication in an all-white ensemble that highlighted her statuesque legs. She opted for a minimalist yet stylish approach with a crisp white button-down featuring billowing sleeves, paired with a knee-length white skirt. This ensemble demonstrated that impactful fashion doesn’t require excess.

Elle reports that Meghan curated her look with pieces from two distinct designers. Her top was crafted by Gabriela Hearst, known for high-end pricing, with similar blouses retailing around $2,440. In contrast, her skirt, from Brochu Walker, represented the more accessible side of her outfit. Items from Brochu Walker typically sell for a few hundred dollars, with a comparable skirt priced at $355. Despite her striking appearance, Meghan’s fashion moment coincides with circulating rumors about marital discord between her and Prince Harry.

Meghan’s appearance at the summit was undoubtedly impressive, but recent headlines suggest tension behind the scenes with Prince Harry. Radar reported on October 13 that Harry was upset over Meghan’s photo taken near the Paris tunnel where Princess Diana tragically died in 1997. A source revealed Harry’s distress, stating, “He was livid and felt it was sacred ground, not a backdrop for a fashion shoot.” Although Harry understood Meghan’s intentions were innocent, the incident reportedly left him unsettled.
Conflicting accounts, however, paint a different picture of Harry and Meghan’s relationship. According to People, Harry’s distress over the tunnel incident and his mother’s death was not directed at Meghan but at the media’s portrayal. “Harry was left hurt and upset,” a source explained. “Diana’s death was weaponized against Meghan, despite her not being near the tunnel.” They added, “The situation was disheartening for Harry, leaving him more despondent than shocked by the media’s narrative.”

Unfortunately, the latest news surrounding her and Prince Harry suggests that they may be experiencing issues behind the scenes. Radar reported on October 13 that Prince Harry was upset that Meghan, while in Paris for a Balenciaga fashion show, posted a photo from her car near the tunnel where his mother, Princess Diana, died in a car crash in 1997. “Harry was livid. He couldn’t believe she’d filmed anything near that location — it’s sacred ground for him,” alleged a source. “He told her it felt like she’d turned the worst moment of his life into a backdrop for a fashion shoot.” Although the prince apparently knew that Meghan meant no harm, he’s reportedly having a hard time getting over it.
With that said, there’s a conflicting reports offering a different narrative about Harry and Meghan’s marital status. According to People, for example, Prince Harry is upset about the whole tunnel incident and Princess Diana’s tragic death — but it’s not because of Meghan. It’s because of the media. “Harry was left hurt and upset,” shared a source with the publication. “Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel.” They continued, “The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry. … He was left feeling hurt, but the depressing thing is he wasn’t even that surprised. He was more despondent than shocked.”
