Meghan Markle could make a major U-turn and return to acting after retiring from the industry in 2018 to marry Prince Harry. The anticipated success of her new Netflix docu-series, With Love, Meghan, could reignite the passion she once had for Hollywood success.

The long-awaited reality show lands on the streaming giant today and is intended to provide viewers with a fresh and new side of the Duchess of Sussex.

The eight-parter was initially supposed to be released on Wednesday, January 15, but was pushed back due to the wildfires that rippled through Los Angeles last month.

Ahead of the show’s release, Rochelle White from the Rochelle White Agency shared expert insight into how Meghan’s TV future depends on the success of her new series.

Rochelle shared: ”In regards to her TV show launching, I feel it will get mixed reviews and interest. I feel initially there will be all eyes on the show, which will I think get mixed reviews.

“If, after an episode, it is not received all or deemed as a success, I do feel her TV career could survive. I think there could be opportunities for her to show up and do something new or even head back to a show.”

Speaking to Express.co.uk, she continued: “If the show is popular and deemed a success, I could see it having a similar run to Goop’s Netflix show with a limited series and maybe a spin-off.

“I feel that this will be potentially more successful than her Hollywood career, as most people remember her for one show Suits.”

“Where’s this types of opportunities will showcase who she is and even open up new and different doors to acting, which could in return showcase her acting ability,” Rochelle concluded.

Although Meghan revealed she had no plans of returning to Suits, The Suits creator Aaron Korsh gave her an “open invitation” to reprise her role as Rachel Zane.

While the original series that the mother-of-two starred in ended in 2019, the show made its comeback to screens with a spin-off in LA last month.

In her bombshell interview with Oprah in 2021, Meghan stated: “I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018. I didn’t think I’d ever be in the entertainment industry again. But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things.

“The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the ‘90s – where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment – that doesn’t happen anymore.”
