Meghan McCain is taking a stand against critics of postpartum bodies.

In a statement on X, McCain, 41, addressed the negativity she’s received about her post-baby figure, stating, “Keep the fat comments coming because I’m sorry to disappoint so many of you, I will not be going on any of the Ozempic shots despite just having my third child. No judgment to those that do, but I just don’t believe in the concept of a magic shot — everything has a price. *I also don’t want my face to change.”

Chelsea Handler, Kyle Richards and More Celebrities Who've Spoken About the Ozempic Weight Loss

Ozempic has been a controversial topic in the realm of weight loss, with various celebrities either admitting to using the drug or denying its use. For instance, Chelsea Handler revealed on a January 2023 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she had accidentally taken the medication, which is primarily prescribed for Type 2 diabetes.

McCain, a well-known TV personality, responded to those who criticized her appearance just two months after she and her husband, Ben Domenech, welcomed their third child. She emphasized that she is not succumbing to societal pressures to quickly return to her pre-pregnancy body.

In January, McCain joyfully announced the birth of her new son, who arrived via C-section. The Bad Republican author is the daughter of Cindy McCain and the late U.S. Senator John McCain. She and Domenech, 44, also share two daughters: Liberty, 5, and Clover, 2.
