Meghan Trainor is shutting down red carpets with her new look.

The 31-year-old singer showed off her transformation while attending Peacock’s The Paper premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 27. Trainor opted for a black-and-white shorts set paired with tights and kitten heels. She completed the look with her blonde hair pulled into an updo, giving old Hollywood glamour vibes.

Trainor was joined by husband Daryl Sabara for the event, and the couple weren’t shy when it came to packing on the PDA. The Spy Kids alum, 33, matched his wife in an all-black look. (Trainor and Sabara have been married since 2019 and share two sons: Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.)

The red carpet outing came days after Trainor subtly responded to fans commenting on her new look.

“Glam team really did that,” Trainor captioned an August 22 TikTok video, tagging members of her hair and makeup squad. Trainor was lip-syncing to lyrics from Megan Thee Stallion’s “Her” in the clip.

“I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me,” Trainor mouthed, seemingly sending a message to critics. “‘Cause, like, I’m pretty as f***. Just the other day, I heard a hoe say. Matter of fact, what could hoe say with a face like this and a bitch bad? S***.”

Trainor’s transformation has been a topic of conversation online for months, especially after she showed off her breast augmentation and lift in March. The following month, the singer revealed that she and Sabara used a GLP-1 to lose weight.

“We did 75 Hard after [our son] Riley was born and, man, did we crush,” she shared during an episode of their “Workin’ On It” podcast in April. “Then, we heard more and more of our friends — and even our doctors — were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.”

They opted for Mounjaro because it “had less side effects” than other weight loss injections. (GLP-1 injections are primarily prescribed to help adults with diabetes manage their weight.)

“I was like, ‘I don’t want any of that,’ and ‘I know how to do it on my own,’” she told listeners about using the drug. “I could do that, but when I asked my doctor, I was like, ‘Tell me everything.’ I did the research, and I felt safe.”

Because Sabara and Trainor “do everything together,” he decided to join his wife in using the weight loss drug.

“I also gained some [sympathy] pregnancy weight,” the actor added. “We’ve been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it.”
