Earlier this week in Miami, an unexpected reunion took place between Melissa Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita, marking their first meeting in years. This encounter unfolded amidst the production of the much-anticipated season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, a special celebration of the Real Housewives franchise’s 20th anniversary, featuring numerous former cast members.

The interaction between Melissa, 46, and Jacqueline, 55, was reportedly tinged with a bit of tension, described by sources as “snarky.” According to an insider who spoke with Radar Online on January 28, Melissa initiated a direct confrontation, questioning Jacqueline about past grievances, asking, “What she had done to her.”

Fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey might recall the complex relationship between Melissa and Jacqueline. While they shared moments of camaraderie during their time on the show, their friendship eventually soured, largely due to escalating conflicts involving Melissa and Teresa Giudice, 53. This latest reunion adds another chapter to their evolving storyline within the franchise.

“[They were] snarky at first,” an insider told Radar Online on January 28. “Melissa confronted her and wanted to know what she had done to her.”

As Real Housewives of New Jersey fans may recall, Melissa and Jacqueline were close at times as they starred alongside one another on the show. However, they ultimately suffered a falling out as Melissa’s drama with Teresa Giudice, 53, heated up.

“Jacqueline brought up some of what happened, but, honestly, it’s been years since they fought, and there was no point in rehashing everything. Melissa truly didn’t seem to know why [Jacqueline] was upset with her,” the source continued. 

As for where they stand today, the insider confirmed “they made up” but added that they would never be the “best of friends.”

“But they definitely cleared the air and appeared to be having fun together. It was clear they enjoyed seeing each other after so many years apart,” they clarified.

The source also said that while Melissa was seen with Teresa amid filming, Teresa “did not” participate in any scenes with Melissa and Jacqueline. 

As fans well know, Melissa and Teresa settled their differences, along with Joe Gorga, 51, at the end of last year and celebrated the holidays as a family with their children.

No word yet on a premiere date for the new season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
