On Friday, Mercedes “MJ” Javid officially filed for divorce from her husband, Tommy Feight, after more than seven years of marriage. The couple shares one child, a six-year-old son named Shams.

The move comes just weeks after Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, 43, hinted at a potential breakup by suggesting that the 53-year-old former Shahs of Sunset star was acting out because she was single. MJ submitted her divorce papers at a Los Angeles courthouse, marking a significant shift in her relationship with Tommy, also 53.

As reported by TMZ on October 20, MJ specified October 17 as the date of their separation, coinciding with the filing of her court documents. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their decision to part ways.

In her legal documents, MJ requested that the court prevent Tommy from seeking spousal support and indicated that she would not be requesting spousal support from him. Additionally, she asked for sole physical and legal custody of their son, but expressed willingness for Tommy to have visitation rights.

Also in her documents, as she requested a court block Tommy’s ability to collect spousal support from her and noted that she was not asking for spousal support from him, MJ requested sole physical and legal custody of their son, noting that she was open to allowing Tommy to have visitation with the child.

As Shahs fans may have seen, MJ and GG were involved in a social media tiff back in August, which saw GG lashing out at MJ, who suggested she’d hooked up with numerous Bravolebrities, including Below Deck‘s Captain Jason Chambers, Southern Charm star Shep Rose, and Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor.

“Usually before someone goes through divorce, they tend to hate on their single friends because we got what they want… freeeeeedom!!” GG proclaimed in response.

The ladies’ feud came just months after Bravo confirmed they would be appearing alongside Reza Farahan, 52, in a Persian-themed spinoff of The Valley.

MJ and Tommy, who got married on April 21, 2018, are due in court for a hearing on the matter on December 18.
