During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live this past Tuesday, Meredith Marks firmly denied having any conversation with Britani Bateman, despite rumors about an encounter between the two on a plane. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star used the platform to clear the air on various topics, including her castmates’ differing narratives and her take on the recent split between Bronwyn Newport, 40, and Todd Bradley.

Meredith, 54, didn’t shy away from addressing Britani Bateman’s so-called “high body count hair” trademark, sharing her candid thoughts with the audience. Additionally, she expressed her opinions on the Next Gen NYC series, revealing her least favorite star, while also discussing her relationships with fellow housewives Mary Cosby, 53, and Whitney Rose, 39. She even offered some insights into the upcoming season six reunion.

“I never spoke to Britani on the plane,” Meredith asserted during the December 16 episode of WWHL, dismissing any alleged interaction. She added that if anything noteworthy had happened, it would have likely been caught on camera, putting to rest any speculation about the incident.

“I never spoke to Britani on the plane,” Meredith declared on the December 16 episode of WWHL.

According to Meredith, if there had been an incident, someone would have caught something on camera.

“The cabin, the majority of the cabin, contrary to [Heather Gay]’s ability to count, we had eight people in the first class cabin. There were 12 other passengers in there. So somebody would’ve filmed it,” she noted.

As for the audience not believing her, Meredith said she didn’t care.

“I know the truth,” she stated.

While Meredith is sticking to her guns, other members of the cast, including Britani, Heather, and Mary, have told a very different account of what supposedly took place between her and Britani.

“Well, first of all, it’s not just a different story than me. Their stories all vary from each other, or even at one point someone saying it was two hours, and the next are saying it’s five. It was six. Well, the flight wasn’t even six hours long, so best of luck on that,” Meredith shared. “So they don’t have a consistent story to begin with.”

When asked about the news of Bronwyn’s separation from Todd, Meredith said she encourages Bronwyn to “do whatever works for [her].”

“After what happened not this season but last season on the boat, and me coming under fire for trying to be supportive of her, and somehow it was spun into me supporting Todd, which was never the case, I have no comment on her marriage,” Meredith reasoned. “That’s why I didn’t comment on her marriage at all this season. I made a decision, if she wanted to spin my conversation trying to help her into something negative, I made a choice after that that I would not be involved in her marriage at any level. I can support her, but I did not comment on her marriage. I won’t ever do that again.”

Regarding the trademark Britani obtained, despite Angie Katsanevas, 52, being the one to have shaded her with the “high body count hair” phrase, Meredith confirmed that legally, “Britani is not in the wrong,” but shaded her for overstepping.

“It’s a question of what we feel is right, and we kind of have always … It’s never been an outright discussion, but the view has always been, whoever says it, it’s kind of yours,” she explained.

Meredith then spoke of her son Brooks Marks‘ castmates, sharing her least favorite.

“That’s easy. It’s [Charlie Zakkour] because he spoke negatively about my family,” she revealed.

Meredith also spoke of Mary, saying that she didn’t feel she lost their close-knit friendship due to Mary’s relationship with Angie.

“Mary and I have had some ups and downs, as you see, but I love Mary,” she insisted. “I know she loves me. We’ve had some tension. We’ve had some issues, but that doesn’t mean we’re not friends, and I feel like we’re in a very good space now.”

Reflecting on the reunion, Meredith said she “loved” it.

“I actually thought it was fantastic. I felt like it was very cathartic. I got a lot off my chest. It was very long. I could’ve made it a little shorter, but I was happy,” she admitted.

Then, after revealing that the cast did not take their drug tests, Meredith reacted to Heather not wanting to sit down one-on-one.

“I don’t think she really wanted resolution,” she noted. “I think that, like, they wanted to punish me for not jumping aboard on the [Lisa Barlow] gang up, and I just wasn’t down. That’s not my M.O. I’m not a follower. I’m a leader.”

Also on the live broadcast, Meredith confirmed that, “sure,” she accepts Whitney’s apology, before sharing her thoughts on Whitney saying that her being sorry for calling her names didn’t take away from the concern she had as her friend.

“I think she should be more concerned about herself than me,” she stated.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Meredith reacted to Bronwyn naming her as the cast member she would “bench” ahead of season seven on Reality Hot Seat.

“I believe the reasoning behind it is that I don’t share enough about my life, but she has things that she claims are sealed, and she can’t talk about that. So I don’t do that. I answer the question,” Meredith clapped back.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
