Amidst the brewing drama of the latest Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season, a tantalizing preview of the reunion episode has captured fans’ attention. The tension centers on a heated exchange between cast members Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose, stemming from an incident at BravoCon. Meredith claims Whitney, while “blackout” drunk, made some startling allegations that have since led to a fiery back-and-forth between the two.

The situation escalated when, on the show, Whitney accused Meredith of being an “alcoholic” and a “pill-popper.” These accusations, compounded by comments from Heather Gay, have left fans divided and Meredith frequently at the center of controversy throughout the season.
In a sneak peek of the reunion, host Andy Cohen broached the topic by asking Meredith about her intentions for the gathering. Meredith, seizing the moment, expressed her desire to address unresolved issues with Whitney. “Before I can even tackle anything else, there’s one question that I need answered, which will determine how today unfolds for me,” Meredith explained. Turning to Whitney, she continued, “At BravoCon, you mentioned wanting to clear up some matters. I’d like to give you the opportunity to do so now.”
Whitney’s response was eagerly anticipated by viewers, especially after Andy admitted his own concern over whether Whitney would manage to “make it across the stage” during the reunion. This revelation only adds another layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama that has captivated audiences all season long.
“Well, I think before I can even address anything, there’s one question I need to ask, which will change the trajectory of today for me,” Meredith answered. “So I just think to ask Whitney, when we spoke at BravoCon, you said there were some things you wanted to clear up. So I want to go ahead and give you the floor to do that.”
Whitney answered, “So I drank a lot at BravoCon. I, when I drink, I’m a very happy, loving drunk. I love to love on people. I tried to talk to Meredith [about how] I am sorry for how things have fallen out with us. I want to be your friend. That is what happened. Instead, she went and said that I retracted everything that I’ve said about her and Britani.”
“No,” Meredith clapped back. “What you asked me is why we can’t just be friends off camera and leave camera on. That’s where you started.”
But Whitney claimed Meredith was “twisting [her] words.”
“And then you said, ‘Well, you were pushing me away,’” Meredith continued. “I said, ‘Yes, I established boundaries.’ You said, ‘I don’t like that you called me a liar.’ And I said, ‘Well, then don’t lie about me.’ And you said, ‘You’re right, I shouldn’t lie about you. I’ll clean it up.’”
Whitney responded, “I did not retract from anything I said. You took my trying to be kind to you, and you went and lied about me.”
Meredith added, “You were fall-down drunk. Your husband carried you upstairs.”
“Trust me,” said Whitney. “I’m never going to do it again. Like, I will never try to be your friend again.”
“Good,” said Meredith.
“I’ve had your back when Lisa said awful, horrible things about you!” said Whitney.
“You’ve all said awful, horrible things about her,” Lisa responded. “It’s not just me. If you’re gonna call me out, talk about what you said. Wait, we’re wh**es and cheaters?”
“Lisa, shut it up!” said Whitney.
Mary then advised Whitney to “relax and take your time,” and “say what you mean.”
“I stand by everything that I’ve witnessed on the plane,” said Whitney. “I stand by my opinions about your life.”
Whitney also said she apologized to Andy for being “too drunk” on WWHL at BravoCon. Andy admitted they were “scared” she wouldn’t “make it across the stage.”
“You black out, Whitney,” said Meredith. “You need to stop.”
