On July 10th, 2025, Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind will be available to stream on Hayu. An exciting new reality show that will feature celebrities reflecting on the cosmetic procedures they’ve undergone, the show’s incredible cast goes through a journey of self-discovery. As the cast has a series of experience that helps them to decide whether to reverse some of the cosmetic procedures they’ve undergone, they won’t be alone.

During Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, the show’s hosts, Dr. Spirit, Dr. Terry Dubrow, and Michelle Visage will be there for the cast. While talking exclusively to TheThings about the show, Michelle explained why she can “relate” to the cast of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind.

Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind’s Michelle Visage Can “Relate” To The Show’s Cast Worrying About Being Judged

In July 2025, TheThings journalist Matthew Thomas spoke to Michelle Visage about hosting Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind.

During that discussion, Michelle was asked how she felt after seeing the cast of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind reflect on the cosmetic procedures they’d gone through. In response, Michelle instantly stated that she could relate to the cast of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind’s struggles.

“I relate. I totally get it.”

From there, Michelle made a statement that showed why fans will want to watch her host Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind.

It is no secret that celebrities are put under an obscene amount of pressure to look a certain way. While talking to TheThings about how Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind affected her, Michelle brought up how stars feel about being pressured to look amazing. However, Michelle then instantly followed up that remark by reflecting on how virtually everyone feels self-conscious about their looks in one way or another.

“Anybody in showbiz is concerned with how they look, and that’s the thing. Everybody is allowed. We all look in the mirror. The majority of people, not everybody, look in the mirror and see something they’d love to change if they had the money or, you know, if they weren’t scared, whatever the situation is.”

Given how universal those emotions are, it seems like almost everyone would take something away from streaming Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind on Hayu.

While still talking to TheThings, Michelle spoke about how her feelings about herself have changed over the years.

“I’ve always been a person who’s caught up in what people thought about me until I got to a certain age. I think with age comes wisdom, and it really does change when you are a certain age. You start to realize, ‘Oh, it really doesn’t matter what those people think. It matters what I think.'”

Michelle finished her remarks on what she learned while hosting Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind by cautioning people to understand the decisions they make. “Somebody could say, ‘Well, Michelle, when I look in the mirror, I don’t like the way I look.’ Okay. That is totally fine, totally justifiable. However, just know what you’re getting into when you go seek a cosmetic surgeon. I think that going through this experience my eyes have always been open, but seeing it through other people’s eyes has been very helpful as well. Seeing their light bulb go off the same way it went off for me.”

Michelle Viasge Hopes Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind Teaches Fans To Better Understand The Cosmetic Procedures They Get

During her TheThings interview, Michelle Viasage sought to clarify what the message of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind is.

“This is not anti-plastic surgery. It’s pro-transparency.”

Michelle then explained that the show seeks to be transparent about the risks and benefits of cosmetic procedures.

“I think seeing other people go through some things after having things done to their faces and their bodies. They’ll think about it twice before they take on such a huge commitment because it is a huge commitment. Even putting fillers in their face seems like a small thing because, oh, you can dissolve it if you don’t like it, but it’s not really that easy.”

Most importantly, Michelle stated that she wants Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind to inspire viewers to be kinder to themselves.

While discussing how she hopes fans feel about themselves with TheThings, Michelle quoted RuPaul talking about the importance of loving yourself.

“That’s really what it’s about. It’s not just about you have to love yourself. What does RuPaul say? ‘If you can’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else.’ That’s true. But, also, if there’s something that you’ve always wanted to do thinking it was the magic ingredient or the key to life, you might watch Plastic Surgery Rewind and go, you know what? ‘I’m gonna I’m gonna try a little bit longer without that thing.'”

Clearly, Michelle feels very strongly about what makes Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind such a great show. Thankfully for anyone who wants to understand Michelle’s passion for the show, Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind will be available to stream on Hayu starting on July 10th, 2025.
