Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, were in serious peril not long ago due to his flirty behavior with other women – but an insider exclusively tells In Touch that he’s cleaned up his act and follows a strict set of rules that’s seen them gradually turn their troubles around.

“Brendan insists he never cheated, and they downplayed it all publicly, but there’s no denying he was caught looking flirty with other women,” the insider tells In Touch about the couple’s past drama. “That was a big trigger for Miranda, it shattered the trust.”

The source says that Brendan, 33, “has managed to earn” back his wife’s trust and “fix things.” However, “it’s taken full transparency on his part.”

“He agreed to sharing phone and social media access, not deleting messages and even telling her anytime he talks to another woman if she’s not around,” the insider explains. “It’s not about control for Miranda, she just doesn’t want any surprises and she wants to be able to put her mind at ease if she gets any sort of funny feeling.”

The source adds that “Brendan is fine” with the arrangement and he is willing to do “whatever it takes to make her feel comfortable and safe.”

“The way he’s handled all this has been top notch,” the insider concludes. “Miranda wants this relationship to last for a lifetime, she’s very happy that Brendan is on the same page and willing to do what it takes to nurture their relationship.”

Miranda, 41, and Brendan experienced a rough patch in their relationship when he was caught dancing with a group of women at his wife’s Nashville bar, Casa Rosa, in June 2024. Footage shared via TikTok showed Brendan dancing with an unidentified brunette, while he was also filmed having a seemingly intimate conversation with a mystery blonde. The blonde woman placed her hands on his face and they talked, which led many to wonder if he was being unfaithful.

The blonde – who has chosen to keep her identity a secret – insisted that her encounter with Brendan was “innocent” while exclusively speaking to In Touch that same month.

“Earlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar. We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there, and mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance,” she recalled. “We went back to enjoying our night, drinking and dancing with each other and just having a good time.”

The woman added, “Somehow, later, we were let into the roped-off section where he was. I’m not sure how that was initiated or happened. We were all dancing together and laughing and talking, thanking him for helping to make our bride-to-be’s night so special and fun. He was gracious and polite and kind. He did a lot of laughing at us, because we are a silly bunch and were having a good time just dancing and being goofy together.”

Despite getting the chance to spend time with Brendan, the woman shared that “there was never anything inappropriate said” and “there was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking.” She also said that Brendan was “not flirty.”
