Monica Vaswani took to her Instagram page on Sunday to accuse her now-ex-fiancé, Rish Karam, of “lies” and cheating.
Years after the pair was last seen together on Family Karma, where Rish faced cheating rumors he denied, Monica called him out with a photo of condoms and a series of leaked DMs from a mystery woman, as he clapped back by claiming the two of them broke up in April.
“So done with all the lies. This isn’t the same girl that was blinded by you while filming … Did you think I was that dumb [Rish Karam?]” Monica wrote in her first post on June 1.
Then, with a second post, Monica included DMs she received from someone who allegedly hooked up with Rish.
“We kissed … He said he was single … Wanted to see me today … Good luck,” the person had written in a series of messages.
In response to Monica’s accusations, Rish shared a couple of posts on his own page, including a lengthy statement regarding the timeline of their breakup drama.
“Monica Vaswani [and] I have not been together for over a month,” Rish wrote on Sunday, via Best of Bravo on Instagram. “She entered my apartment unannounced and without my permission while I was traveling out of the country, went through my personal belongings [and] took out of context photos to post on social media.”
“I never cheated on her and only wanted to give her my absolute best while we were in a relationship … It’s unfortunate it didn’t work out and she asked me to not openly talk about us splitting up as she needed time to process,” he continued. “Unfortunately my kindness was taken advantage of [and] she took control of the narrative, which is manipulative, unacceptable, [and] disgusting.”
Rish also posted a screenshot of security camera footage showing Monica’s parents at his apartment when she reportedly moved out several weeks ago.
“Her parents assisted her with moving out of our apartment on 4/21/25, which is depicted in this photo … I’ve been single ever since,” he stated.
Family Karma has been on pause since airing its third season in early 2023.
