It has been a little over a month since the final part of the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion aired. The word is that cameras are now rolling for season 10, and Karen Huger, 61, and Mia Thornton, 40, are absent. Now, former cast member Monique Samuels is responding to rumors that she may once again grace our screens on Sunday nights when the show returns.

Monique, 41, joined the cast of RHOP during the show’s sophomore season. Though she had several iconic moments, including bringing the much-buzzed-about binder to the season five reunion, she departed the series ahead of its sixth installment. Since then, she has appeared on other reality shows and now has a career in radio. 

There have been many rumblings that Monique may finally return to Bravo. This is especially the case as the show may be looking for new cast members, considering Karen is currently in jail for her DUI. Recently, the former RHOP star took to Instagram with a post celebrating her life today and discussing leaving the past behind.

Monique said in her post, “Free of my past, open to the future, here in the NOW. I have everything I need. A heart full of pure love and gratitude. I AM peace. I AM abundant. I AM light energy. I AM love. I AM overflow. I AM magnetic. I AM aligned. Life is EASE. I’m just visiting. I AM the vacation. Me and my 3 old souls.  #earthlyvacation Motto: ‘I let go and I flow.’”

In the accompanying videos and images, fans can see Monique with her children enjoying what appears to be a camping trip. Still, some of her followers couldn’t help but wonder if the rumors of her return to RHOP were true. One person said, “It’s a post going around on Twitter saying you coming back to RHOP for season 10. Is that true?”

Monique responded, “Not true, boo.”

As mentioned, it has been reported that filming has commenced for the show’s 10th season. TV Deets confirmed filming began on April 21, which was the same day Mia announced her exit from the series.

Bravo hasn’t announced the cast, but it has been reported that Gizelle Bryant, 54, Ashley Darby, 36, Stacey Rusch, 48,  and Wendy Osefo, 40, will return as Housewives. There are also unconfirmed rumors that Candiace Dillard-Bassett, 38,  could also be back in the mix with the ladies after leaving before season nine.
