On Sunday, January 5, actor Montana Jordan, best known for his role as Georgie in Young Sheldon and spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, took to Instagram to make a special announcement.

One year ago, Jordan and his longtime partner, Jenna Weeks, rang in the new year announcing that they were expecting their first child together, a daughter.

Five months later, Jordan announced that their daughter, Emma Rae Jordan, was born on May 21.

“God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl. Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself cradling his baby girl.

And over the last seven months, Jordan and Weeks have shared snapshots of their life together as young parents.

Now, the proud parents are taking their relationship to the next step.

On Sunday, Jordan revealed that he has asked Weeks to marry him.

“To the woman I love most, You are the light of my life, sweetheart,” he wrote alongside several photos from the proposal. “I love you to the moon and back a million times and more. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us and our family.”

In the photos, Jordan proposed to Weeks in front of a light up sign that spelled out “Marry Me” as flower pedals were scattered on the ground. Weeks showed off her stunning diamond ring as the two embraced in a kiss.

Following thousands of congratulatory comments, several joked about the similarities between Jordan and his beloved TV character, Georgie.

“Talk about being more and more like the character, LOL. Congratulations,” one fan wrote.

His “Young Sheldon” co-star Iain Armitage also shared his congratulations, writing, “This is so wonderful and I’m so happy for you!!!”

Jordan and Weeks began dating in 2021.
