Alex Borstein had some mixed results when she began dating after her 2014 divorce from “Gilmore Girls” actor Jackson Douglas.

“I dabbled,” the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star exclusively told Page Six at the WGA Awards recently. “I dabbled with some gentlemen. And some of it was disastrous, some of it was mortifying and some of it was lovely.

The “MADtv” alum’s dating travails are dissected in her upcoming comedy and singing special, “Alex Borstein: Corsets & Clown Suits,” which premieres April 18 on Amazon.

As for whether Borstein, 52, can hold a tune she joked, “Tune in to find out.”

She described the show as “a very deeply personal and wildly fictitious show. And it’s kind of detailing the account of like, post-divorce and coming out of that after twenty years. I’m like ‘What the f–k? Who am I? What am I doing? How do I want to be perceived?’”

“And it’s really about that. It’s about perception,” she added. “How people are perceived. And should you care how you’re perceived?”

The “Family Guy” star, who voices matriarch Lois Griffin, married Douglas in 1999. Douglas filed for divorce in 2014 and it was settled three years later. They share two children together: Barnaby, 14, and Henrietta, 10.

It’s a busy time for Borstein as the fifth and final season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” begins airing on April 14.

The Emmy winner shared that while filming the final scenes she was “the first to cry. I cried in the rehearsal, like an idiot.”

“It was heartbreaking,” she continued. “It was really, really hard to … it’s hard to shoot the scene. It was hard to cut. We just had to take that emotion and make it work for what was happening in the scene. But it was a lot.”
