Naomi Osaka has long been a force on the tennis court, but her influence now stretches well beyond the baseline and into the heart of the fashion world.
The 28-year-old four-time Grand Slam champion raised the style stakes at the US Open 2026, teaming up with celebrity stylist Law Roach for a series of head-turning arrivals — including practice-day outfits featuring Supreme/Margiela x Timberland boots printed with dollar bills, sheer mini dresses and other statement pieces.
Earlier this summer, Osaka brought high-shine drama to the French Open with custom jackets worn over a gold sequined Nike tennis dress, and she appears to be carrying that same fashion-forward energy into New York City.

Although her run ended with a loss to Elena Rybakina, Osaka made sure her exit was memorable, stepping out in an oversized tapestry coat designed by KidSuper.
The outwear was covered with a laundromat scene in bright colors and the brand reworked the NBA logo in favor of one that represented a tennis serve.

Osaka declared she was “back to business” for her match against Elise Merten, wearing suiting separates by Monse that included a blazer mashed up with a gray hoodie and wide-leg trousers. Underneath, she went with a black-and-silver kit.

For her second-round match against Katerina Siniakova, Osaka went with an all-white Thom Browne overcoat in white silk gazar with matching belts. The outwear was embroidered with tiny white and silver tennis rackets and featured a pleated skirt as well as athletic mesh inserts.
She peeled off her layers to reveal a silver two-piece Nike set.

To kick off the tournament, Osaka paid homage to another sports great: Allen Iverson. She channeled the braggadocious Philadelphia hooper by way of a custom Who Decides War tulle and French-terry gown, covered in sewn-in newspaper clippings of her career highlights. She donned Iverson’s iconic red sweatband headband and matched with more around her elbows, pulling her hair into braids.
The homage came about as Nike’s athlete kits this season were inspired by basketball. Hence why the black two-piece look she wore to face off against Anastasia Zakharova included a net-like embellishment around the skirt.
“He was an elite player on the court but also found a way to authentically merge culture, sports, and fashion,” Osaka told Vogue of her choice to honor Iverson.
