Natalie Portman flashed a big smile during a recent public appearance, despite reports that her husband Benjamin Millepied had an affair.
The actress was photographed attending the French L1 football match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Clermont Foot 63. The sporting event was held at the Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris, France. The Pride and Prejudice star was dressed casually in a white button down and grey blazer. She hid her face with a pair of oversized sunglasses and finished her look with a hint of red lip stick.
Benjamin Millepied Reportedly Had An Affair With A 25-Year Old
Natalie’s husband was nowhere to be seen during the outing, which isn’t surprising given recent reports. According to Page Six, sources confirm that Natalie recently discovered Benjamin was having an affair with a 25-year-old.
It’s unknown who the other woman is, but Benjamin was recently photographed spending time with Camille Etienne, a climate activist and former ballet dancer, in France. However, reports claim the affair is over. It also remains unclear when the affair took place or how long it continued for. But Page Six notes that Benjamin and Natalie briefly separated last year before reconciling.
The couple have been married since 2012 after originally meeting on the set of Black Swan in 2009, for which Natalie later won an Oscar, when Benjamin was her dance coach.
“I met my husband on it, so I think I was in, like, dreamland,” Natalie recalled in 2018 of filming the movie’s dance scenes. “He was teaching me to dance. You know, one of those romantic [stories] … It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don’t know about instant.” She added, “It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, ‘Oh this is the person.’ “

Benjamin and Natalie share two children – son Aleph (born in 2011) and daughter Amalia (born in 2005).
Natalie & Benjamin Remain Together Despite His Infidelities
Despite the scandal around Benjamin’s infidelity, multiple reports say that Natalie remains committed to their marriage. “They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him,” one source told Page Six. “He loves her and their family.”
“She is incredibly private,” the insider went on. “Her biggest focus right now is protecting the kids.”
Another source echoed a similar sentiment to PEOPLE Magazine, sharing, “He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together.”
“Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media,” the source continued. “Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.”
For now, Natalie hasn’t released a public statement addressing the allegations involving her husband. However, the actress is notoriously private, so this isn’t out-of-character. Frankly, fans shouldn’t expect any comment from the Oscar winner on the matter.
But, at the very least, Natalie’s recent public appearance suggest she’s putting on a brave face for the cameras, despite the difficult situation.
