Norman Reedus and Helena Christensen’s son, Mingus Reedus, was spotted out with a new girl one month after his arrest.

Mingus, 25, and an unidentified woman took a stroll in New York City on Saturday, September 20, according to photographs obtained by Just Jared.

The model kept it casual for the outing in navy drawstring pants and a black T-shirt. The woman opted for jean shorts, a black tank top and flats. Her brown hair was down in voluminous curls.

Last month, Us Weekly confirmed that Mingus was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Authorities confirmed to Us at the time that a 33-year-old woman was present at the scene with neck and leg injuries.

TMZ later reported that Mingus was charged with reckless physical injury, aggravated harassment and second-degree harassment. Mingus pleaded not guilty.

“Despite what the prosecutor said in court — which is not evidence — they chose to charge Mingus with misdemeanors or less. This speaks volumes, and much louder than the unsupported prosecutor’s in-court comments,” Mingus’ attorney Priya Chaudhry said in an August statement to Us. “Equally important, the judge released Mingus on his own recognizance, with neither bail nor supervision. That significant judicial decision amplifies the volume. Mingus is presumed innocent and has pled not guilty. As the facts emerge, his innocence will become clear.”

Later that month, Mingus made a virtual court appearance while his lawyer was present in person. A judge signed off on an order of protection preventing Mingus from having any contact with the complainant, referred to as Ms. Cotter. Mingus was ordered not to get in touch with Cotter by phone, email, social media, text or communication through a third party.

The judge also warned Mingus not to respond if Cotter contacts him, to avoid violating the protective order. Mingus was also told he must leave immediately if he sees Cotter at the apartment building where they lived.

An insider later told Us exclusively that Mingus “seemed calm and compliant” while the judge spoke.

Mingus’ next in-person court date is scheduled for October 8.

Norman and Christensen, both 56, have not publicly addressed their son’s arrest. The actor and former Victoria’s Secret model welcomed Mingus in 1999, one year after they started dating. They called it quits in 2003. (The Walking Dead star later moved on with wife Diane Kruger, whom he wed in 2016.)

Since their split, Norman and Christensen have remained amicable as they prioritized coparenting their son. The exes have reunited for several of Mingus’ milestones, including his high school and college graduations.
