North West once again showcased her daring fashion sense, this time with an adventurous set of nails that featured piercings and spikes.
The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West offered her Instagram followers a peek on Thursday, posting a series of photos that highlighted her striking, long, and translucent aqua blue nails.
While the nails were covered in a shimmering layer of glitter, the metal piercings running through each one were undeniably the centerpiece of the look.
Each nail, including those on her thumbs, was adorned with silver studs and spikes. Her two middle fingers on her left hand bore pink Japanese characters, likely spelling out “North-chan,” a nod to her father’s 2024 track “Bomb” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
North had previously contributed a Japanese verse to the song, making the manicure a personal statement.
In a video clip, North credited nail technician Noehmi Saldana and Akemi Santiago for the jaw-dropping sartorial statement.
North’s latest polarizing look comes amid fan concerns — after showing a new nose-bridge accessory, blackened teeth and a massive diamond pendant in January, the “Kardashians” personality faced yet another round of backlash.
While dad Kanye has strongly opposed North’s social media presence, her reality TV icon mother simply isn’t concerned.
“It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things,” Kardashian, 45, said during an October episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“But then my daughter tries to wear it and then I’m like, ‘okay, we’re never wearing that again.’ Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
“As a mom, you’re kind of learning at the same time,” she added. “But what I do know is my baby’s such a good girl and such a sweet girl.”
The SKIMS founder also shared that she tends to go easy on her daughter when it comes to expressing herself through fashion and beauty.
“She does listen to me, but in other areas, I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.’ You know, it makes her so happy,” the mom of four explained.
“I would never take that creativity away from her.”
She added, “I just think anyone that’s raising kids, especially four kids by myself, I’m doing the best that I can.”
