Olivia Rodrigo concluded her Guts tour with a surprise performance at the Park Avenue Armory on Thursday night, captivating an exclusive audience that included celebrities like Ashley Park from “Emily in Paris,” Nina Dobrev of “Vampire Diaries,” and several Make-A-Wish Foundation children.
According to insiders, Rodrigo took the time to connect with some of her young fans through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which is known for creating memorable moments for children facing serious illnesses.
The Grammy-winning artist delighted the crowd with performances of her chart-topping hits such as “Drivers License,” “Vampire,” “Sour,” and “Deja Vu.” Among the attendees were “The Bear” actress Molly Gordon, renowned makeup artist Patrick Ta, Good American co-founder Emma Grede, and acclaimed interior designer Jeremiah Brent.
The event was made possible with sponsorship from American Express.
Rodrigo also performed “Lacy,” a track that gained popularity after being featured in the cult favorite series “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”
“Ever since it was in that show, people have been chanting at me at concerts to sing this song if I wasn’t going to sing it,” she said.
Proceeds from the ticket sales went to the pop star’s Fund 4 Good.
The historic venue served as home to the Seventh Regiment of the National Guard, the first volunteer militia to respond to President Lincoln’s call for troops in 1861.
Rodrigo has confirmed she is working on a third album.
