It has been revealed that Ozzy Osbourne’s rarely seen daughter, Aimee Osbourne, will join mum Sharon and siblings Jack and Kelly in a feature-length special, which airs later this year. Aimee has shunned the spotlight ever since her family allowed TV cameras into their home in the early 2000s.

Filming the documentary has been ongoing for months and it focuses on how the legendary rocker battled back from devastating setbacks since his life-changing fall back in 2019. The camera also went behind-the-scenes of his farewell show at Villa Park, which took place just weeks before his tragic death.

An insider told The Sun: “Aimee never wanted to be in the spotlight, she was never comfortable with the attention. However, she believed the documentary about her father’s life was a fitting way to break cover, as the special has a deep and emotive angle. “

“Fans will be intrigued by what she has to say, nearly as much as learning how Ozzy coped during the latter stages of his life.”

Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, is set to air on Paramount+, and will also feature contributions from Ozzy’s Black Sabbath bandmates

“We are truly heartbroken to hear the news of Ozzy’s passing,” Phil and Tania Alexander, the creative team behind No Escape From Now, said in a statement.

“Filming with him, Sharon, Aimee, Kelly and Jack for the last three and a half years will always be a cherished and remarkable experience – largely because we got to regularly witness Ozzy’s indomitable spirit, his mischievous, irresistible grin and his masterful display of unique one-liners. We will always love you dear Oz. And we send love and strength to Sharon and her family.”

Meanwhile, Sharon also discussed the documentary, sharing that it will be an “honest account” of what has happened to Ozzy over the past few years.

The former X Factor judge added: “It shows how difficult things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. It’s about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have given them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire those facing similar issues to Ozzy.”

Today Ozzy’s funeral is expected to take place in Birminghamas his hearse will travel along Broad Street to Black Sabbath Bridge and the Black Sabbath bench – the sites of thousands of messages, floral tributes and vigils.
