Summer House has just recently concluded its ninth season and fans are all asking the same question: Will the same housemates be back at it again for the upcoming 10th season? In particular, fans were eager to know if fan-favorite Paige DeSorbo planned to return to the Hamptons every weekend to bed rot and party with her housemates again.
Fans have been fascinated with Paige ever since she appeared on Summer House in Season 3. From her close friendships with Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller to her signature fashion sense and high-profile relationship and breakup with Southern Charm star Craig Conover, she’s become a standout.
However, Paige’s career has only skyrocketed with a successful podcast, best-selling book, and even a new clothing line. It’s safe to say she may no longer need the reality TV show to make a living, and she recently made it known that her schedule is far too packed to return for another season.
Paige Announced Her Departure From Summer House After 7 Seasons
Paige DeSorbo Previously Admitted Her Time On Summer House Has “An End Date”
The Bed Bug gang is officially no more (at least of Summer House) after Paige DeSorbo announced her departure from the Bravo reality show after seven seasons.
Taking to Instagram Stories, she began: “I have a little update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House.”
“Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable.
You’ve seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.
Thank you. I never could’ve imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.”
Paige DeSorbo dropped hints that her time on Summer House was coming to an end. The 32-year-old reality star has so much on her plate thanks to her booming career, that it seems almost impossible to see her making her way to the Hamptons every weekend to party with her housemates.
In an interview with Glamour in April, Paige shared that there was definitely “an end date” to her time on the Bravo show.
“There’s an end date for me at some point. With the lifestyle of Summer House specifically, I’m probably not fitting into the original show idea anymore,” she shared. “Whenever I see a comment that’s like, ‘She’s a little too old to be on this.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I kind of am. I’m probably not as fun to party with as a 25-year-old, and I get that.'”

Paige came onto Summer House in Season 3 when she was 27-years-old and single. She had a romantic connection with OG star Carl Radke, but that quickly fizzled. The following season, she crossed paths with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover, but it wasn’t until Season 6 that they explored a relationship. Besides her romances, fans loved seeing Paige’s close bond with her housemates Amanda and Ciara.
And, although Paige may think she’s too old for the show, she should think again. OG stars like Kyle Cooke and Carl are in their 40s now. Season 9 did introduce younger housemates like Lexi Wood, but fans have always had a soft spot for the originals. Still, given that the show revolves around nonstop partying and alcohol-fueled drama, it’s understandable why Paige was ready to step back and focus on the bigger opportunities unfolding in her career.
Paige No Longer Needs Summer House With Her Busy Career
Paige Is A Best-Selling Author
Paige’s career outside of reality TV is booming. While her relationship—and eventual breakup—with Craig Conover made plenty of tabloid headlines, she’s also carved out her own path by focusing on passions that truly inspire her.
Paige and former Summer House star Hannah Berner (who also joined the series in Season 3) have continued to have massive success with their Giggly Squad podcast, which was first launched in early 2020. Gaining thousands of fans they have called their “gigglers,” the women went on a nationwide tour and sold out two shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
In an episode of Summer House Season 9, Paige revealed that she was the “breadwinner” during her relationship with Craig. She doubled down on her comment during an appearance on WWHL when asked to clarify her statement: “This is so crazy how so many people are appalled at this,” Paige said. “Yeah, I work more. So why would I not be?”
Paige and Hannah have been best friends and business partners for years now. On April 15th, Paige and Hannah released their nonfiction book, How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously, which became an instant New York Times bestseller.
Describing their book in an interview with People, Paige shared, “I’ve always wanted to be one of those girls that brings a book on vacation and just reads the whole thing. I’m never going to be her, and that’s fine. And I think that’s why we like How to Giggle, because you can truly pick it up at any point in the book, and read one chapter and then put it down and come back to it. So we like that. And we grew up with Cosmopolitan, those quizzes and the magazines, so we wanted it to feel like that.”
Additionally, Paige has partnered with major brands like DSW and TRESemmé. She most recently introduced fans to her new sleepwear line, named after her cat, Daphne.
“Originally, I thought maybe it was just sets… Of course, I love a mini skirt with a little matching top, but the girls have those,” she said. “It was really more like, ‘What would my followers like?’ And I feel like we all align on staying in bed,'” she shared with InStyle.
So, how could she possibly do all of this and return to the Hamptons every summer weekend?
Fans Believe The Women Of Summer House Deserve Their Own Series
The end of Summer House Season 9 saw Paige and Amanda going over to Lindsay Hubbard’s NYC apartment to meet her daughter, Gemma Kufe, for the very first time. Fans couldn’t help but notice how much the dynamic between these women has evolved—especially considering Paige and Lindsay were never particularly close. The scene even had viewers speculating about the potential for a spinoff series, centered around these three women (with Ciara included), as they navigate life, careers, romances and friendships.
In Paige’s interview with Glamour, she teased that while she may not star on Summer House forever, she wasn’t opposed to joining another reality show that showcased her real, bustling life.
“I would stay on reality TV, but it’s only fun and real if it’s your lifestyle. As I get older, I am straying away more and more from partying every weekend. I really can’t drink two nights in a row; I will pass away. I was actually nervous for this season to come out because I felt like I didn’t do anything this summer, because I was so tired from working,” she shared.
A new show about these reality TV ladies would make sense. Paige is single and is navigating a busy career. Lindsay is now a new mom and fans would love to watch her in this new role. Amanda is now busy working on her swimsuit line and possibly thinking of a family with Kyle, and viewers would love to catch up with Ciara and her work as a full-time influencer. It’s a much-needed Sex and the City for the Bravo generation.
