Paige DeSorbo revealed she and Craig Conover briefly split in February 2024 on Wednesday night’s installment of the Summer House season nine reunion.

As she answered a series of questions from host Andy Cohen, 56, in regard to her breakup from Craig, 36, the alleged engagement ring he claimed to have bought her, and if he ever asked her dad for permission to marry her, Paige, 32, shaded her ex-boyfriend’s “convenient” claim that he returned the ring and insisted he was not blindsided by their split.

“Craig and I have had this conversation for a year … It’s not like one day I woke up and was like, ‘I think I’ll be single for today.’ We broke up last February for like a full weekend. Then we talked [and] got back together,” Paige revealed on the May 28 episode of Summer House. “So it’s not like it was smooth sailing, and one day I was like, ‘See ya.’ We’ve had these conversations over and over and over.”

Although Paige said she “tried everything in [her] power to not have a breakup where it was Team [Paige] or Team Craig,” she felt Craig had other plans.

“He wasn’t gonna let me go easy,” she noted.

As fans will recall, Paige was the first to confirm her split from the Southern Charm cast member publicly, and Craig didn’t speak out until weeks later.

“We didn’t discuss how the breakup would go after, but I told him that I was going to put a statement out on my podcast when I realized he was, like, on vacation being single. I was like, ‘Okay, well, I can’t hide this anymore from people,’” she explained, signaling Craig’s post-split trip to Aspen. “He was out at bars, there were girls around, people had pictures, they were on the internet, and I was like, ‘I’m not gonna respond to that.’ I’d rather be the one to say, ‘We broke up. He’s fine to, like, be out right now and be doing his thing.’”

As for Craig’s claim that he had purchased an engagement ring for Paige, she declared, “That ring does not exist.”

Then, when Andy mentioned that Craig had said on Watch What Happens Live that he returned the diamond while in New York City for his appearance, Paige, who also confirmed Craig never spoke to her father, described the claim as “convenient.”

“How convenient. The day he’s on [WWHL], him and his new girlfriend went and returned my ring? I don’t think so, Andy. That’s insane,” she stated.

The Summer House season nine reunion concludes next Wednesday, June 4, at 9/8c on Bravo.
