Paige DeSorbo has entered the fray.
In a now-removed Instagram comment, DeSorbo hit back at Patricia Altschul from Southern Charm after Altschul criticized her decision to leave Craig Conover. Altschul had taken issue with DeSorbo’s reluctance to settle down, as Conover expressed his desires for a family in a recent DECIDER interview.
“I remarked that I thought she treated Craig poorly, and I still feel that way,” Altschul stated in the interview. “When a man tells you he wants to start a family, you don’t respond, ‘Blech,’ and continue on as she did.”
Following her breakup with Conover last fall, DeSorbo replied to Altschul’s critique on our @deciderdotcom Instagram platform, quipping, “I’ll just get married four times instead,” a clear jab at Altschul’s own matrimonial history, which includes three marriages, two ending in divorce. However, DeSorbo has since removed her pointed comment.
This exchange has further fueled a simmering feud that began when Altschul appeared on Watch What Happens Live in January. This appearance came shortly after DeSorbo revealed on her Giggly Squad podcast that she had ended her three-year romance with Conover. During the show, the 84-year-old socialite accused DeSorbo of being “mean” to Conover, likening her behavior to that of his former girlfriend, Naomie Olindo.
“I think he deserves somebody who will really love and cherish him,” Altschul said at the time.
DeSorbo, for her part, fired back at Altschul when she stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse a few months later (in April, to be exact), telling host Andy Cohen, “When she was on [WWHL], I think she said she was like a self-proclaimed bitch, and I think she nailed that.”
While the Summer House alum deleted her latest dig at Altschul’s multiple marriages sometime between the hours of 10:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 19 and 7 a.m. ET on Nov. 20, it’s no secret that she’s been staying busy in the comments section this week.
After Shep Rose was caught on video bad-mouthing her and Conover’s “sham” relationship at BravoCon—and claiming they “made millions of dollars on reality TV’s back”—DeSorbo commented, “I can lend him some if he needs it?”
From what it looks like, there’s no end in sight for the Southern Charm vs. Summer House war.
