In a lot of ways, being a celebrity is akin to being a tightrope walker. After all, stars need to be open enough that people can feel like they’ve built a connection with them while at the same time being careful about saying the wrong thing.
Worse yet, for any stars’ careers to survive, they need to have fans who support them, but celebrities also need to be wary of overly attached followers. After all, there are too many examples of celebrities who’ve been forced to deal with dangerous and relentless stalkers. One notable and terrifying example of that is the time a stalker crossed the country to find Jennifer Aniston.
At the height of Pamela Anderson’s career, it seemed like she was the star who had the most people infatuated with her. In fact, there was so much passion for Anderson at the time that some people are still interested in if she would ever consider a Baywatch reboot decades after she left the original show.
In most cases, the people who’ve been infatuated with Anderson have realized that they just had a celebrity crush that will never go anywhere. Tragically for Anderson, however, Pamela was the subject of an absolutely terrifying encounter with a fan that took things way too far with Anderson.
What Happened When A Stalker Broke Into Pamela Anderson’s House?
When stars go out in public, it is fairly common for them to be flanked by security guards if they know they will be around fans. In a lot of cases, it may seem ridiculous for celebrities to have a mountain of a man keeping them safe as adoring fans simply want to get an autograph or get a picture with them.
Unfortunately for stars like Pamela Anderson, it actually makes perfect sense for them to be surrounded by security in public. In fact, at times it has seemed like Anderson should have been surrounded by more security guards and ones that seemed more intimidating.
The reason why it seems like that is simple, there have been far too many examples of obsessed fans putting stars in extremely serious danger.
Some examples of scary celebrity stalker stories include the time Selena Gomez had a fan break into her guest house several times or when Keira Knightley had someone meow into her mail slot. Then there is the time WWE wrestler Sonya Deville had a fan break into her house planning to kidnap her and when Jennifer Lopez had a stalker stay in her guest house for a week.
Since all of those incidents were scary, none of them should be downplayed. Still, the story of the stalker who defiled Pamela Anderson’s iconic swimsuit sounds even more terrifying which says an awful lot.
In 2018, Pamela Anderson appeared on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. During the resulting interview, Morgan asked a question that viewers may have thought would be unremarkable, if Anderson has ever had any weird fan encounters.
In response, Anderson revealed something that happened to her that would send shivers up a lot of people’s spines. According to Anderson, an obsessed fan broke into her home and what happened next is mind-blowing.
“Yes, well there’s been dangerous ones as well, some people getting into my house and slicing their wrists and wearing my Baywatch bathing suit.”

After Anderson started to tell the story of the stalker she dealt with, Morgan spoke about the details of what the stalker did in general terms.
“This happened – a woman broke into your house didn’t she, and for three days, while you were there with your kids, she was living in one of your guest rooms without you realizing?”
Anderson then started to speak about her stalker in more detail and what happened only gets worse once you learn more about it.
“And she had written a letter saying, ‘I’m not a lesbian, I just want to touch you’.” Anderson continued, “And she was wearing my bathing suit and the police got it from her and wanted to give it back but I said, ’no, no it’s ok, you can keep that.;
Anderson then finished up the story of the stalker that broke into her house by talking about how scary the situation was and what it taught her. “Terrifying, yes,” Pamela added. “It comes along with it, you just have to protect yourself and you have to be aware of it.
What Happened To Pamela Anderson’s Iconic Swimsuit?
Since Pamela Anderson said that the police tried to return her swimsuit, the stalker who broke into her home clearly wore one of the iconic swimsuits the Baywatch actor wore while filming the show. With that in mind, it may seem like Anderson doesn’t have any swimsuits from her years starring in Baywatch.
In 2023, Netflix put out their documentary about Anderson’s life, Pamela, a Love Story. After fans got the chance to watch that documentary, most saw Anderson in a new light. For that reason, there was a renewed interest in Anderson, especially when Pamela seemed to be feuding with Tommy Lee’s current wife, Brittany Furlan.
Once Anderson was the talk of social media again, she started to make the media rounds like she has done so many times in the past.
In February 2023, Anderson was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight Canada. During the resulting conversation, Anderson revealed that she still has at least one more of her iconic Baywatch swimsuits. Furthermore, Anderson revealed something about that swimsuit that many of her fans would be curious about.
“I had a couple back then, now I only have one. I put it on every once in a while — it still fits.”
Given how tight Anderson’s Baywatch swimsuit was and how incredibly fit Pamela was when she filmed the show, it is impressive to think it would still fit her today. That seems all the more noteworthy considering that during her Netflix documentary, Anderson demeaned how she looks now several times.
Sadly, it is abundantly clear that no matter how many people say someone is beautiful, that doesn’t necessarily mean they feel the same way about themselves.
