Paris Jackson and her fiance, musician Justin “Blue” Long, have split.

Taking to social media on Thursday, July 31, Jackson, 27, confirmed the couple have called it quits via X while responding to a story posted by the Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail’s article link featured photos of Jackson looking upset, with the story linking the photos to the 16th anniversary of the death of her father, Michael Jackson.

Jackson clarified she was actually upset due to her split from Long. She wrote, “Those are breakup tears. y’all are fkn reaching again.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Jackson’s representatives for comment.

The pair, who are rumored to have first gotten together around June 2022, announced their engagement in December 2024.

“Happy birthday, my sweet blue,” Paris wrote via Instagram post at the time, confirming Long had popped the question. “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with.”

She added, “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”

Jackson shared 14 never-seen-before photos with Long, as well as one of the musician on bended knee and proposing with a large solitaire diamond ring. In the series of photos, Jackson dropped to her own knees and shared a sweet kiss with Long.

While it was never specified when the proposal took place, fans spotted Jackson wearing what looked like an engagement ring at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024.

The Instagram post appears to have since been deleted.

Speaking to Access Hollywood last month, Jackson said she and Long were in the midst of organizing their nuptials.

“The dress is being made, the venue has been picked and the date has been picked by an astrologer, because I’m from L.A.,” she told the outlet. “I’m all about the crystals and the astrologer, and all that stuff.”

When it comes to her relationships – including her romance with Long – Jackson kept a lot of details out of the public eye over the years.

She only shared a rare few photos of Long and their relationship via her Instagram before their engagement announcement.

Prior to Long, Jackson has been romantically linked to musicians Michael Snoddy and Gabriel Glenn as well as supermodel/actress Cara Delevingne in 2018.

Jackson is the second eldest of Michael Jackson’s three children. The late “Smooth Criminal” singer, who died at age 50 in 2009, shared Paris and son Prince with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe. He also welcomed son Bigi via surrogate in 2002.
