Pete Davidson gushed about expecting his first child on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” after his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, announced their bundle of joy last week.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum was all smiles while discussing the baby news on Tuesday night’s episode and said he was “so excited” to become a father.

“I did it!,” Davidson at first quipped to Fallon as the crowd roared. “Nah, if anybody who knows me, it’s my dream to be a dad so I’m so excited. Elsie’s excited. I’m excited to see her be a mom, so we’re stoked.”

Fallon told Davidson he thinks he’ll be a “fantastic dad” who will “crush it.”

“Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore,” Davidson said after thanking Fallon. “It’s nice!”

Hewitt, 29, revealed she was pregnant via Instagram last Wednesday.

“welp now everyone knows we had sex,” she captioned a carousel of snaps and videos featuring Davidson.

The first photo showed the duo cozied up, as the “King of Staten Island” star, 31, rested his hand on the influencer’s stomach.

A clip also showed Davidson and Hewitt holding hands during an ultrasound appointment.

Page Six learned that their baby is due in early winter, with a source saying, “Pete is so excited for this next chapter.”

“His family is thrilled and can’t wait to become grandparents, aunts, etc,” the insider added.

The source added that Hewitt made an appearance at Davidson’s comedy show in New Jersey in June, saying, “He’s never had a girlfriend come to his stand-up show.”

Hewitt subtly hinted at her pregnancy on Instagram earlier, saying she had a “weird chaotic month,” alongside photos of herself wearing a baggy shirt.

Davidson previously opened up about wanting to be a father on “Hart to Heart” in 2022.

“[I’m] definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever — which I’ve yet to achieve — is I want to have a kid,” he said.

At the time, the comedian said he was attempting to “develop and get better, so when that happens it’ll be easier.”

Page Six broke the news in March that Davidson and Hewitt were dating.
