Just weeks before his untimely passing at the age of 60, Peter Greene appeared happy and healthy in a recently shared photo.
The actor, renowned for his roles in films like “Pulp Fiction,” was captured with a wide smile in an Instagram photo posted on October 25, where he is seen alongside several musicians.
In the image, Greene exudes good spirits as he poses with the group, showcasing a lively demeanor.
Page Six has not been able to verify the exact date when the photograph was taken.
The well-known actor from “The Mask” was discovered deceased in his New York City apartment on Friday, following a wellness check initiated by a concerned neighbor.
According to The Post, the neighbor heard nonstop Christmas music coming from Greene’s home.
When a locksmith opened the actor’s door, he was found unresponsive on the floor.
Greene was pronounced dead at the scene.
The “Bluestreak” star’s neighbor alleged that his body was found facedown and surrounded by blood, per the New York Daily News.
Investigators claimed there was no foul play, though an autopsy report is pending.
Greene’s manager, Gregg Edwards, revealed he spoke to his client and friend on Wednesday, two days before his body was discovered.
“It was just a totally normal conversation,” Edwards told The Post.
Edwards shared that Greene expressed his worries about undergoing surgery to remove a benign tumor near his lung.
The surgery was scheduled for Friday — the same day he was found dead.
“He was a little nervous about the operation going in, but he said it wasn’t super serious,” Edwards said. “He sounded okay. It was just a totally normal conversation.”
Greene is survived by his sonRyder, 16.
