That is, except for the few brave celebrities who have agreed to a return for I’m A Celebrity…South Africa.
The brand-new show sees the return of some of the most memorable campmates from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Having survived the Australian jungle, they may have thought they’d be in for an easy ride.
However, producers have promised that South Africa is an even harder proposition, which will push them to their limits and test them like never before.

Former cricketer Phil Tufnell discovered that is indeed the case, telling this week’s Radio Times: “The producers are cunning.
“They find out your phobias and make you face them. One trial in the new series wasn’t a nice one for me,” he revealed.
“I ended up apologising to the animals because I was screaming and swearing at them.”
Phil is sharing the jungle with several other former contestants; including boxing champion Amir Khan, Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo, former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, TV presenter Carol Vorderman, Olympian Fatima Whitbread, and former Royal butler Paul Burrell, to name just a few.
There is no public vote and instead they will be competing against each other in trials in the hopes of becoming the first ever I’m A Celebrity Legend.

Phil has more at stake than most of the returnees, having won the show back in 2003, although he doesn’t have a cunning plan from twenty years ago to draw on.
He admitted before heading to South Africa: “I never went in with a game plan and we were all naive back then, but it was great to win.”
Asked if the show changed him, he admits: “Yes it did change my life. Millions are watching you on I’m A Celebrity every night and life does change (in a great way).
“Everyone kept telling me how much they loved me in the jungle, and I became more famous for winning the jungle than bowling Viv Richards or Australia out in a cricket game!
“Doing I’m A Celebrity gave me a new career direction. I’d just retired from cricket, and I was thinking about doing some commentating but the show opened up other doors to explore.”
“Doing I’m A Celebrity is such a great experience that stays with you for the rest of your life,” he explains.
“It feels as clear as a crystal ball and it is one of my favourite programmes.”
“I had my birthday whilst I was in the camp and it is one I will never forget.
“I am one of the lucky few to have gone in the jungle and experienced it all and that’s what appealed to me when they phoned up to ask me to take part again. I said yes immediately.”
