Mayor Eric Adams booed at Planet Hollywood reopening

Now this whole “indictment” thing is getting serious: it’s starting to mess with Eric Adams’ nights on the town!

The embattled mayor showed up to the reopening of Planet Hollywood in Times Square Tuesday night, and got booed while walking the red carpet.

Stars including Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Pete Davidson, Whoopi Goldberg, 50 Cent, Arnold and Patrick Schwarznegger and Liev Schrieber walked the carpet.

But only when Hizzonzer showed up did the 42nd Street peanut gallery got involved.

Adams, of course, was indicted on bribery charges (which he denied), but the charges were dropped at the behest of the Trump administrations.

A Page Six spy told us that the boos were plenty loud enough for Adams to hear, and that an Uber driver even pulled over and wound down his window, just to heckler the mayor. Seasoned party pro Adams remained resolute, however, and choked back a few free shrimp in the face of the backlash.

He later tweeted, “Planet Hollywood is back! It’s a reminder that businesses shuttered by the pandemic still want to return home to the greatest city in the world! While they’re creating jobs and investing $20 million into NYC, we’re welcoming them with a strong local economy and safer streets.”

The restaurant opened in Times Square in 1991 but shut during the pandemic. It’s new space is a few blocks from the old one.

Things were more amicable inside, where Club Kid and fashion veteran Richie Rich, designer Rebecca Minkoff, “Real Housewives” stars Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley, “Bachelor” star Matt James, Fox 5’s Christal Young, NBC’s Chloe Melas and fitness pro Brian Mazza, Sailor and Jack Brinkley, fashion guru Philip Bloch, foodgod, Foodie Magician Josh Beckerman and 103.5 KTU (and PageSix.com’s) Astra on the Air, all made the scene, and Boy George DJ’d.

The entire cast of Broadway show “& Juliet” came over after their performance, with Joey Fatone and Charile D’Amelio grooving on the dance floor.

Meanwhile,

We’re told IKRA Caviar was served.

A rep for Adams didn’t get back to us.
