Kelly Osbourne, a figure often in the public eye, has decided to address the latest criticism directed her way, making it clear that some comments have crossed the line.
At 41 years old, Osbourne has faced body-shaming comments, with a recent one calling her “too thin” and likening her appearance to a “dead body.” She responded on Monday, February 23, by highlighting this particular remark and expressing her dismay.
“I am appalled at how cruel some people can be! Nobody deserves such treatment!” she wrote, sharing a screenshot of the offending comment through her Instagram Stories. This came after she made a public appearance at the Royal Ascot Millinery Collective Spring/Summer 2026 event in London on Sunday, February 22.
As the daughter of the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and television personality Sharon Osbourne, Kelly posted a series of photos from the event. She showcased a sheer plum gown adorned with sparkling details, complemented by a delicate necklace, a chic blonde bob with bangs, and a soft pink makeup palette.

While some criticized her physical appearance, others voiced concern and support for Kelly, offering encouragement in the wake of her father Ozzy’s passing in July 2025 at 76. The iconic musician succumbed to a heart attack, compounded by coronary artery disease and a longstanding battle with Parkinson’s disease, as noted on his death certificate.
After seeing the remarks about Kelly’s appearance, one person replied, “Absolutely stunning!!! I’m so sorry for all the hate comments, it’s disgusting. Grief will literally CONSUME you, they just don’t understand yet.”
“I love how fast people in the comments can tell Kelly to gain weight but if someone in their life told them they were fat and needed to lose weight they’d fall apart,” a second person echoed.
Kelly added another post on Monday, reading, “This too shall pass, but like, holy f***.”
The former reality star previously addressed the “horrible, mean, and rude comments” she received online back in December 2025, while thanking the fans who have sent her well wishes.
“First, I want to start by saying I received so many lovely, lovely, lovely comments from people that have really helped me get through this time in my life since losing my father,” she said in a video at the time. “I’m just here to say, what do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now? The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life and trying to be more than enough, I should be commended for that.”
“You say that I look ill. Well, I am ill right now,” she admitted. “My life is completely flipped upside down.”
Kelly said she is well aware of what people think of her physical appearance, slamming the women who went out of their way to post insensitive comments.
“Another thing that is strange is that you compare photos of me now at 41 years old to a picture of me when I was 18 years old,” she stated. “People’s faces change when you grow older.”
Kelly concluded her post by noting “it’s absolutely devastating that women can’t support other women.”
