Paige DeSorbo has been at the center of gossip in the wake of her breakup with Craig Conover. Paige became a star of reality television after appearing on Summer House. The pair were together for three years, but decided to call it quits. This kind of thing happens all the time with reality stars, but Paige faced a whole new level of drama as a result.
Cheating rumors followed her in the months following the breakup, with many coming to her defense. However, Paige took control of the situation by redirecting focus to her career. Paige decided to tease fans prior to the Summer House season premiere by posting about an upcoming fashion-related project. One can only guess what this will be, but it certainly shows that Paige knows how to handle a breakup.
Paige Confuses Fans With Seemingly Inconsistent Accounts Of The Breakup Timeline With Craig
There are some who believe Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have been broken up for longer than they have let on. Paige let fans know that she had been single for “a couple months” during a recent podcast appearance. This revelation came not long after she announced her breakup with Craig. Paige also said that a lot has changed about her since the split, even sharing a post on social media about “knowing people don’t like you.”
Paige confirmed she and Craig broke up on the episode of her podcast which aired December 30. This was less than a month ago. She also denied rumors that the two had already been broken up for months. Shortly after denying this rumor, Paige denied another rumor that she was already dating someone else.
However, on her Giggly Squad podcast, fans have noticed that Paige seems to be giving a different version of the timeline of the breakup. The most revealing moment came when Paige and co-host Hannah Berner discussed the idea that sometimes, women try to “fix” the men they’re dating. Paige then said that this idea can cause women to ignore their own needs. She went on to say that being single can sometimes teach women what they really need to prioritize for themselves.
“I’ve only been single for a couple months,” Paige said, “but already, just in terms of my single life [and] my own personal life, I never wanted to work out … Obviously, you want to work out because you want to be hot or whatever. I never wanted to work out because I feel like I literally didn’t care about my body. I didn’t care if I was healthy. I didn’t care if I was strong. And then when I was single, I was like, Oh no, I have to stay alive. You know?”
“I’ve been working out three times a week, and I haven’t even thought about it,” she continued. “It was just very empowering for my own self to see like, Oh, I thought I’d never be able to quit that, or I thought I’d never be able to start that up. And so then when you’re doing it naturally you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m way stronger than I was giving myself credit for.’”
During the January 14th episode, Paige told listeners that she felt “weird” being single in her thirties.
“We’re not in our twenties anymore, so not that you can’t be single like you were in your twenties, you can do whatever you want, but it’s almost like you don’t want to be,” Paige said. “When I got single at 28, I was like, ‘Catch me at every single club that exists in New York City,’ and I was there. You could find me in a club. Now I’m like, ‘I would pass away if I went to a club until 4 a.m. Like, I’d literally pass away. So, it is weird thinking of, ‘What am I going to do being single?’ I’ve done a couple of dinners with my girlfriends. I haven’t gone out yet.”
Amanda Batula Stood Up For Paige Amid Cheating Rumors After Her Breakup With Craig
Paige even shared a @drunkbetch post on her Instagram Story about not being “like[d].” “‘How do you sleep knowing people don’t like you?’” the post read. “Me: With the fan on.” However, Paige still has plenty of defenders as well. One of those is Amanda Batula, who recently stood up for Paige in the aftermath of her split from Craig.
Amanda sat down with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea along with her husband Kyle Cooke, where she called out Craig for refusing to address rumors that Paige cheated on him. Instead, she feels that he should’ve shut them down right away.
“To not clear up any of the cheating rumors is insanity. Insanity,” Amanda said. “That was still your girlfriend of three years. Like, stand up for her a little bit,” she went on, addressing Craig directly. “He’s been silent.”
Austen Kroll appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he made an allegation that Paige “moved on with another guy” following the breakup. Austen is a good friend of Craig’s. “I don’t think that those are rumors. I think that they’ve been substantiated,” Austen told Andy, before insisting that Craig “knows as such.”
He added, “You know, he didn’t know for a minute, but yeah. I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor.” However, Paige didn’t take Austen’s comments lying down. She shut them down in a comment on Instagram, writing, “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken To in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing.”
Paige and Craig were in a relationship for three years before breaking up. “No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” Paige revealed in an episode of her Giggly Squad podcast. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful.”
Despite Paige’s statement, Craig later claimed he was “very shocked” by the breakup, which he called “unexpected.” His version of events came courtesy of an Instagram video he posted, talking directly to his followers. Craig is no longer following Paige on Instagram. During her interview with Page Six, Amanda said she was made aware of “multiple conversations had” between Craig and Paige regarding their relationship. According to Amanda, the two openly communicated about the fact that their relationship was going downhill.
“But he was ‘shocked,’” Amanda said, adding that she can hardly “even speak” about Craig’s feelings regarding the whole situation. “Paige was nothing but kind in her words and Craig was just… he sent the dogs after her.”
Paige may have been at the center of rumors regarding her own status following the breakup, but she has chosen to keep quiet. Time will tell if Craig also stays quiet about his own journey moving forward. There are already rumors, courtesy of Us Weekly, that Craig is on the dating app Raya, which is used mostly by celebrities. And you can be sure Amanda had something to say about that too. “Those girls are so lucky. I can’t wait for them to match with him,” Amanda sarcastically said. “Good luck!”
Paige decided to move on from the relationship drama by bringing attention back to her career. She teased her latest career project less than two weeks before the premiere of the season nine premiere of Summer House. All she let followers know was that the upcoming project was fashion-related.
Paige teased different Pantone swatches, product shots, and reference photos for “exterior label placement” on her Instagram Story. Fans also spotted a sheet of paper which read “Summer 25 color story.” This seemed to hint that whatever this project is, it will be released in the coming months.
“Sorry I was busy workingggggg,” Paige wrote in the caption.
This wouldn’t be the first time Paige has made moves in the world of fashion. When she made her debut in Summer House‘s third season, Paige had a job as a fashion writer and her interesting sense of style became her signature character trait among viewers. Viewers have described Paige’s style as a combination of classic prep and elevated streetwear.
“Anytime I hear someone say, ‘That’s so Paige,’ it’s so girly. It’s so cute,” she told People Magazine in 2024. “It either has a bow, or it’s a little set. It’s something like Madeline would’ve worn.”
Paige even released her very first fashion line in collaboration with Amazon in 2022. The two would continue to collaborate on various projects related to style. In addition to Amazon, Paige has worked with DSW and Sewing Down South. The latter of which is Craig’s lifestyle brand.
And it’s not just fashion that Paige is working on. Post-breakup, she announced that she and Hannah would bring the Giggly Squad podcast tour to Radio City Music Hall. The two went on to host back-to-back shows, both of which were sold out. Paige told People that the moment was “surreal.”
“It doesn’t feel like it’s happening to me. I’m so proud of Hannah and I… We really felt like we made it to Radio City with thousands of our best friends and we were all just chatting,” she told the outlet about the podcast’s fanbase. “Honestly, they made me feel so much more at ease playing such a big venue. I mean, I still took a beta blocker, but I didn’t feel it at all when I was out on stage. I felt so comfortable with them. Being home really made a difference too and was that much more special.”
Beyond the tour, Paige and Hannah are also releasing their first book, “How to Giggle,” in April. It is described as the “guide to taking life less seriously.” The two announced the joint venture on Instagram. The book will offer readers “hilarious and heartwarming advice on how to take life a little bit less seriously.” These pieces of advice will be about friendships between women, romantic relationships, setting goals, and “overcoming awkward situations.”
