Power Rangers Star Amy Jo Johnson ‘Happy to Be Alive’ After Donnie Wahlberg’s Private Jet Skids Off Las Vegas Runway

“Power Rangers” actress Amy Jo Johnson says she is “happy to be alive” after a private jet carrying her, Donnie Wahlberg and others overshot a Las Vegas airport runway.

Johnson was traveling aboard a Dassault Falcon 50 when the aircraft failed to take off from Harry Reid International Airport on Sunday.

The jet ran beyond the end of the runway and struck a perimeter fence, forcing the closure of two runways and triggering flight delays.

“It was an eventful weekend. That’s for sure. Watching the incredible Donnie Wahlberg and his mates crush it in their last show in Vegas,” Johnson, 56, wrote in an Instagram post Monday.

“And then surviving a very hairy plane situation. But we did. And I’m grateful and very happy to be alive!” she continued.

Johnson, who portrayed Kimberly Hart on “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” from 1993 to 1995, posted several images from the incident. The photos included a view from inside the aircraft and another showing the plane’s wing hitting the fence.

After the crash, members of the flight crew were seen praying on the tarmac with Wahlberg.

Wahlberg, the 57-year-old New Kids on the Block singer, replied to Johnson’s Instagram post.

“You rock Amy Jo! So thankful for you, and for my buddy Matt! So very blessed!” he wrote, referring to Johnson’s boyfriend, “Power Rangers” writer Matt Hotson.

Wahlberg also assured fans that everyone on board was safe, praising the pilots for averting a potentially more serious accident.

“We’re all OK. I’m OK. We were taking off and didn’t get up in the air and ran out of runway,” he said in an Instagram video posted Monday.

“I’m just going to tell you these pilots saved our lives. And God covered us,” he added.

According to Wahlberg, the pilots steered the jet away from fences, trucks, heavy machinery and dumpsters as it left the runway.

“God is good,” Wahlberg said as he held back tears. “We had just finished praying, and I looked out the window and said, ‘We are not getting up in the air today.’”

“But we’re safe and thankful and all is well. Don’t worry,” he added.

The Dassault Falcon 50 veered off Runway 1L and collided with one of Harry Reid International Airport’s perimeter fences. No injuries were reported.

A flight-tracking map posted online appeared to show the jet entering the runway before overshooting the pavement, turning right and coming to a stop.

The Federal Aviation Administration temporarily paused flights after declaring an “aircraft emergency.” Two runways were also closed for inspection, leading to delays at the airport.

Wahlberg had been flying to Las Vegas for New Kids on the Block’s residency, “The Right Stuff,” at Dolby Live inside Park MGM.

Johnson attended the performance with Hotson as the group concluded its Las Vegas run over the weekend following a series of shows in the city.
