President Donald Trump pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley from their 12-year and seven-year sentences, respectively, on Tuesday.

Three years after the Chrisley Knows Best couple was convicted of bank fraud and tax crimes after allegedly scamming banks out of over $30 million, and amid their separate court appeals, Trump’s adviser, Margo Martin, shared a video on X of a call he made to Todd, 56, and Julie’s daughter, Savannah Chrisley, 27, from the Oval Office.

“It’s a terrible thing. But it’s a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow. Is that okay? We’ll try getting it done tomorrow,” Trump, 78, revealed. “So give them, I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them a good life.”

“Thank you so much, Mr. President,” replied Savannah, who had been advocating for her parents amid their appeals and against the “inhumane” treatment they had allegedly received behind bars.

Savannah’s brother, Grayson Chrisley, 19, also hopped on the call, offering a tearful reaction to the news.

“Mr. President, I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back,” he said.

Trump then noted that Todd and Julie, 52, “were given a pretty harsh treatment.”

“Congratulate your parents … they are terrific people. This should not have happened,” he added.

Meanwhile, in a statement to CNN, Scott Taylor, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, said the “release process could be immediate or may take up to a couple of days depending on the type of pardon and the necessary travel arrangements needed to get the individual from the facility to their release residence, including the purchase of bus or plane tickets.”

Currently, Todd is behind bars at a Federal Prison Camp in Florida, and Julie is located at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

News of Todd and Julie’s pardons comes amid production on their family’s new reality show.

Just last week, TMZ shared that the couple was expected to participate in the Lifetime series by way of phone calls. Although cameras wouldn’t have been allowed in their prisons, their audio was going to be included on the show.

Produced by Savannah and her older brother, Chase Chrisley, 28, it isn’t known when the yet-to-be-named series went into production. But it’s safe to say that Todd and Julie’s impending exits from prison will allow for quite the storyline.

Following the news of her parents’ pardons, Savannah took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans and followers.

“We are freaking out over here! I have shed so many tears. The president called me personally as I was walking into Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So, both of my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow, and I still don’t believe it’s real,” Savannah proclaimed as she donned a “Make America Great Again” hat. “The fact that the president called me, I will forever be grateful for President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way, all of my lawyers, the people who put in countless hours and effort, and love for my family to make sure that my parents got home.”

Also thanking her online audience for their love and support, Savannah said she was preparing for Todd and Julie’s return home by getting their clothes together and setting up their bedroom.

“I’m just speechless,” she continued. “It still doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t … My parents get to start their lives over … I love you guys, and it’s time to get mom and dad!”

The Chrisleys’ new show is expected to begin airing on Lifetime sometime later this year.
