When Does ‘Hollywood Demons’ Premiere?

Hollywood Demons debuts on Investigation Discovery (ID) on March 24, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. ET. The highly anticipated first season consists of six gripping two-hour episodes, airing weekly. Additionally, the series will be available to stream on Max starting March 24, 2025.

What Is the ‘Hollywood Demons’ Series on ID About?

Hollywood Demons delves into some of Hollywood’s darkest secrets, shedding light on true crime cases involving celebrities. Each episode explores a different unsettling topic, from child stars with violent pasts to celebrity stalking cases.

According to ID, “Each gripping two-hour episode features accounts from Hollywood insiders, project collaborators, and survivors who endured harrowing abuse and struggles.”

The official trailer gives a chilling glimpse of what fans can expect from the series. In one scene, a man is seen in a police interrogation room, stating ominously, “He’s not a Power Ranger. He’s evil.” Another clip shows a man discussing his brother’s obsession with Taylor Swift.

“My brother believed Taylor Swift was his soulmate. He wrote 70 letters. ‘I’ll have one goal in mind – to push Taylor to kill herself,’” the man revealed.

Other episodes in the series cover the tragic story of the Von Erich brothers, the dark history behind Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actors and scandals involving Real Housewives stars. Each episode includes expert commentary from addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky and culture writer Scaachi Koul.

‘Hollywood Demons’ Premiere Episode Focuses on Stephen Collins

The first episode features Stephen Collins’ sexual misconduct scandal. Collins rose to fame playing Reverend Eric Camden on the popular series 7th Heaven. Eric was the dad to seven children, including teenage daughter Mary played by a young Jessica Biel. It was a wholesome show that had a huge fanbase, but it was dealt a shocking blow.

In 2012, audio recordings of Collins talking about his sexual urges toward young girls with his therapist were leaked to the public. After the audio was leaked, police began a formal investigation into the matter. Two years later, Collins released a statement to People and admitted that he had inappropriate sexual conduct with three minor girls between 1973 and 1974.

That same year, Collins later denied he was a pedophile when he sat down for an interview with Katie Couric on 20/20.

“I’m absolutely not attracted, physically or sexually attracted to children,” Collins said in the 2014 episode.

Due to statutes of limitations, he was never prosecuted.

The episode, “Stephen Collins, America’s Dad,” will also feature interviews with cast and crew members from 7th Heaven who worked with Collins, including actor Jeremy London. Plus, “one of Collins’s alleged victims comes forward in a shocking tell-all interview, revealing the disturbing truth about the actor she once idolized.”
