Prince William and Prince George get fired up in rare father-son outing at soccer game in Paris

This father-son outing is pitch perfect.

Prince William and his eldest child, Prince George, got fired up while cheering on English team Aston Villa in their soccer match against the Paris Saint-Germain squad Wednesday.

The royals were photographed laughing, pumping their fists and screaming in delight alongside other fans in the packed Parc des Princes stadium in Paris for the Champions League quarterfinals.

At one point, a giddy William, 42, wrapped his arms around George, 11, in a celebratory embrace while watching the action on the field.

However, the look-alike duo also appeared tense at moments during the game, which ended with Paris Saint-Germain defeating Aston Villa 3-1.

Aston Villa is reportedly the Prince of Wales’ favorite team. He even showed his loyalty prior to the match by greeting the players and coaches outside the locker room.

William also gushed about sharing the sporting experience with George while chatting with TNT Sports.

“Well, I’ve got my son here as well, so I’m on best behavior,” the future British monarch joked when asked whether he planned to have a guys’ night.

“But I thought, it’s been 43 years since anything like this has happened in my generation as a Villa fan, and I want George to experience a night out away from home in a big European competition.”

William added, “I think those memories are really important to create and to bring him along tonight is a big deal for me.”

The dad of three also shares daughter Princess Charlotte, 9, and son Prince Louis, 6, with wife Kate Middleton.

The exciting father-son soccer trip to Paris took place during George’s spring break from school ahead of Easter, per People.

The 11-year-old seems to have inherited his father’s love of the sport and Aston Villa in particular.

Last year, William confirmed George was part of the fandom as they attended a game in Birmingham, England, amid Middleton’s cancer treatment.

When asked by a sports journalist Neil Moxley whether the young heir was “part of the [Villa] pride,” the Prince of Wales replied, “Oh yes, he’s loving it.”
