Pusha T Makes Bold Grammy Appearance Amid Epstein Files Controversy

Rapper Pusha T made an appearance at the music industry’s most significant event following reports linking his name to the investigation involving the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

Pusha T’s name emerged among the 3 million documents from Epstein’s files, which the Department of Justice released on Friday, January 30.

It’s important to note that his name was submitted to the FBI as a tip and was not sourced from any official Epstein records. Law enforcement has not substantiated any connection between Pusha T and Epstein’s sex trafficking operations.

An unidentified victim claimed that Pusha T, whose real name is Terrence LeVarr Thornton, acted as one of her “handlers” during occasions when she was allegedly drugged and sexually exploited.

While music was the primary focus, fashion took center stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards, as high-profile celebrities graced the red carpet. The stars dazzled with their ensembles, featuring sequins, striking silhouettes, and a flair for style, creating a buzz at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1. Trevor Noah hosted the […]

The victim “attributed the drugging as frequently performed by persons assigned as handlers, whom she described as persons who established friendships with the victims.”

Epstein, who died in prison in August 2019, was arrested in July 2019 for sex trafficking minors and was a registered sex offender from 2008 until his death.

Us Weekly has reached out to Pusha T’s representatives for comment.

Clipse — who are nominated for five Grammys at the 2026 ceremony for their album Let God Sort Em Out — won the award for Best Rap Performance for “Chains & Whips” featuring Williams, 52, and Kendrick Lamar during the Grammys’ premiere ceremony ahead of the prime-time telecast.

They emerged victorious over Cardi B’s “Outside,” Doechii’s “Anxiety,” Kendrick Lamar and Lefty Gunplay’s “TV Off” and Tyler, the Creator and Teezo Touchdown’s “Darling, I.”

Clipse lost Best Music Video and Best Rap Song during the premiere ceremony to “Anxiety” and “TV Off,” respectively.

The group is also nominated for Best Rap Album and Album of the Year. In Album of the Year, Clipse is facing off against Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Justin Bieber’s Swag, Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend, Lady Gaga’s Mayhem, Lamar’s GNX, Leon ThomasMutt and Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia

Clipse are also scheduled to perform during the Grammys’ prime-time ceremony.

The stars came out to celebrate music’s biggest night at the 2026 Grammys. The 68th edition of the awards show, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1, honored the best music released between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025. Kendrick Lamar led the pack with nine nominations, while Lady […]

Pusha T reflected on Clipse’s five Grammy nominations during an interview with Billboard published on Saturday, January 31.

“I mean, it’s extremely special,” the rapper said. “You know, I feel like this happening with Clipse, you know, me being with my brother is the only way it should be, honestly. And even, you know, just just doing this with Pharrell and us collectively — you know, just being together — it feels like, man, high school.”

Let God Sort Em Out was released on the heels of the death of Pusha T and Malice’s mother, Mildred Thornton, in 2021.

“It’s tough,” Pusha T told The Hollywood Reporter in October 2025. “Some days are better than others. Some mornings, it’s fine. Other mornings, it’s tears in the shower. Some shows, it’s fine performing it. Some rehearsals, it’s not. It’s just random times where it strikes you more than others. It’s kind of like a disbelief when I feel like, ‘Damn, I’m really singing this song and it’s real.’”
