Quinton Aaron, renowned for his role in the acclaimed film The Blind Side, has undergone a remarkable transformation, shedding 200 pounds. He describes this significant weight loss as not just a physical change, but an emotional release as well.
In a heartfelt Instagram post dated October 14, Aaron, now 41, shared his journey with his followers, reflecting on the challenges and changes of the past few years. “The years since Covid have been tough, with friendships coming and going,” he wrote. “But marrying my #puertoriqueña @margaritaleta75 last year felt like a divine blessing. I am grateful for God’s grace, mercy, and favor in my life.”
Accompanying his message was a series of photos displaying his impressive transformation. Among them, Aaron posed in a pair of pants that now hang loosely on his frame, along with a before-and-after image that highlights his dedication and hard work. His fresh haircut and beaming smile further underscored his newfound confidence and well-being.
The towering actor, standing at 6-foot-8, attributed his success to traditional methods of diet and exercise, telling TMZ that lifestyle changes and a bit of bedroom cardio contributed to his achievements. Aaron’s journey to better health coincides with his marriage to Margarita Aaron, whom he wed in December 2024.

Quinton Aaron first captured audiences’ hearts as Michael Oher in the 2009 film The Blind Side, where he starred alongside the likes of Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw.
“At my heaviest, I was 575 pounds. As of today, I am 370 pounds,” he proudly shared, praising his spouse for being an unwavering support while he focused on his wellness journey.
“Mentally, physically and emotionally, she has been my confidant and shelter through my storms,” Quinton told the outlet. “I truly believe God was blessing me with one of his angels when he sent her to me. She’s helped me get over my depression and so much more. She loves to tell people that she only does 5 percent and I do the other 95 percent but I believe she’s much more important in my life than even she gives herself credit for.”
Quinton also revealed that he tried Ozempic — a type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve glycemic control, but has gained popularity for its weight loss benefits — about a year ago because he’s diabetic, but stopped using the injectable drug due to an allergic reaction.

The actor revealed that he gained weight when he turned to food after his mom died in 2008 but has since found healthier ways to cope with hardships in his life.
He spoke more about his binge-eating during an interview with the “Recovery Vow” podcast in September.
“Food was my drug,” he said at the time. “I was eating when I wasn’t even hungry. Just going out and buying food and sitting in my car in the parking lot, eating it and crying and not knowing why. I’m like, ‘Why do I feel this way?’”
Although he’s made great strides with his overall fitness, Quinton noted that he is not done reaching his goals yet.
“I have 55 more pounds to go to reach my overall goal of 320 lbs,” he shared via social media on Sunday, October 12, adding, “I GOT THIS!!!”
