Rachel Zoe Criticizes Ex-Husband Rodger for Revealing Girlfriend to Son: Latest Update on Their Relationship Dynamics

Rachel Zoe expressed her frustration with her estranged husband, Rodger Berman, following an intense episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that aired on Thursday night. During the episode, she referred to him as a “f*cking a**hole,” showcasing her anger.

The tension arose after a scene where Rodger, 57, informed their youngest son, Kaius, 12, about his new girlfriend, right after Rachel, 54, had left the country. This revelation came without the presence of Kaius’s older brother, Skyler, 14. Rachel was visibly upset about Rodger’s decision, especially since the girlfriend in question is believed to be stylist Bree Jacoby, whom Rachel derogatorily called an “it” and a “thing.” She criticized how this situation brought out the worst in Rodger, confirmed ongoing rumors about their relationship status, and reflected on their previous family Thanksgiving in Miami.

“That was a brutal day,” Rachel recounted during the March 12 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “He was alone with his dad for the first time in a month, and Rodger chose that moment to tell him about the girlfriend. He told Kaius, my sensitive little angel, when his brother wasn’t even there. That’s what made it even worse, and I wasn’t there to support him.”

Rachel emphasized that “everything about that moment was so wrong,” highlighting the emotional turmoil it caused.

According to Rachel, “everything about that moment was so wrong.”

“It was like a knife in my soul, and it was sort of like, ‘Okay, what part of this seems okay to you?’” she continued. “I said, ‘Do not talk about it and do not bring her near them without us talking about it and me being okay with it, because I can soften that landing a little bit.’”

While confronting Rodger about the matter, he pointed out that he and his girlfriend had been together for a year, saying, “It’s time,” and encouraging her to look up when it was okay to bring a partner around the kids.

“[He’s] Googling if it’s okay to tell [his] child about another girl?” she wondered. “Everything about that person is wrong and brings out the worst in him. It makes him not make good decisions. It makes him not — she is an ‘it’ babe, she’s nothing more than an ‘it.’ Any good woman that he would be with would say, ‘You know what, your kids aren’t ready to see me yet. You shouldn’t have me around.’ She just showed up where she wasn’t invited.”

After annihilating Rodger from Italy on the night of the incident, Rachel confirmed she’d gotten an apology.

“It doesn’t erase anything, but it sort of like, ‘Okay, at least you took one minute in the last year and a half and said I’m sorry,’” she reasoned. “Every decision you’ve made in the last year and a half has said otherwise, has shown otherwise. So you know, I think he’s doing some self-reflecting.”

Rodger is also now thinking without Bree’s apparent input, as they broke up at the end of last year while Rachel was at BravoCon.

Since then, Rodger has reportedly been dating someone else.

“He’s like, ‘I’m single as ever.’ I was like, ‘You’re confused. Being single doesn’t mean going to Aspen with somebody for a week that you met three weeks ago.’ I was like, ‘Be alone for a week, for a month,’” Rachel shared.

Although Rodger may not want to stay single, his relationship with Rachel has gotten “better” since splitting from Bree. In fact, they spent Thanksgiving with their kids in Miami.

“We were in Miami for Thanksgiving 2025 with my whole family, and he went to Miami with a friend, a guy friend, and at like, 5 o’clock on Thanksgiving, I’m like, ‘What are you doing for Thanksgiving?’ And I said, ‘Okay, well, you don’t have to but if you want to, you can come for dessert or a drink.’ And do you know what? He said, ‘I would love to see everybody and I would love to be with the kids,’ and he came over.”

“Everyone was normal to him except my dad. My dad just wasn’t ready. They were besties. [But] my mom was good,” she revealed. “My mom was the one who [said], ‘You know, Rachel, you can’t be alone on Thanksgiving.’”
