The festive season took an unexpected turn for Adriana de Moura, who found herself celebrating with an unusual accessory—a neck brace—following an accident.

On Wednesday, Lisa Hochstein, aged 43, took to Instagram to share a collection of holiday photos. In these images, the 60-year-old star of Real Housewives of Miami was seen sporting the medical device, matched with a chic black minidress, black tights, and a pair of striking silver heels.

“Found the best gifts under my tree,” Lisa captioned her December 31 post. The snapshots included moments with Adriana, her daughter Elle, who is six years old, and a few close friends, capturing the warmth and joy of their holiday gathering.

Adding to the festive spirit, Lisa also posted a story featuring a picture of herself with Adriana, set against the backdrop of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, highlighting the holiday cheer despite the circumstances.

She also posted an image of her and Adriana on her Story with a gorgeously decorated Christmas tree in the background.

“Why is Adriana in a neck brace[?]” someone asked in a comment after the post was shared.

“Accident,” Lisa replied, not sharing any further details.

Back in September, ahead of the conclusion of season seven, rumors began swirling in regard to what season eight would look like, one of which suggested that just five members would return. 

“As of now, [Alexia Nepola], [Larsa Pippen], [Lisa Hochstein], [Stephanie Shojaee], and [Marysol Patton] are essentially locked in for next season. The others, [Guerdy Abraira], [Julia Lemigova], [Adriana De Moura], and [Kiki Barth], are considered ‘on the bubble,’” Bravo and Cocktails reported.

The outlet also stated that Guerdy, 47, was the cast member who was most likely to be awarded a season eight contract of the four who were in jeopardy.

“However, the challenge with Guerdy is that the cast doesn’t fully gel with her,” it noted. “Adriana is more of a toss-up because she’s seemed disengaged, and producers are aware of it. [And] Julia is the most likely to be out, largely due to fan backlash.”

A short time later, an insider told OK! Magazine that Guerdy and Julia, 53, were “on the chopping block.”

“[Bravo] wants more Latin Americans … Guerdy and Julia don’t fit that profile,” the source alleged.

No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of Miami season eight.
