Real Housewives Star Dorit Kemsley Eyes Reconciliation with Kyle Amidst NYT Bestseller Memoir Success

Dorit Kemsley has opened up about her intentions for mending her relationship with Kyle Richards, particularly after she recently gave a nod of approval to a post labeling Kyle a “hypocrite.” The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills also proudly announced that her memoir, Unburdened, has secured a spot on the New York Times Best Seller list.

Over the past two years, tensions between Dorit and Kyle have been high, with frequent clashes. Dorit recently endorsed a fan’s post that criticized Kyle for allegedly being secretive about her relationship with Morgan Wade, despite expecting transparency from her fellow cast members.

During an appearance on Let’s Talk Off Camera, Dorit expressed her hopes for the future of her friendship with Kyle.

“I’m very hopeful,” Dorit stated. “I would love for Kyle and me to reach a point where we can either set aside our differences or work through them. Going into the season, I thought we were on that path. I believe that if both parties are willing, there’s always an opportunity for reconciliation and improvement.”

“I’m very hopeful,” said Dorit. “I would love to see Kyle and I be able to get to a place that, you know, we really can put our differences aside or hash it out, whichever. … I thought we were going [into the season] in that place. I think that … if both people want to, there’s always room for making up and making things better.”

Around the same time, Dorit announced that her new book is “officially a New York Times Bestseller.”

“Even writing those words feels surreal,” she said in her Instagram caption. “This is one of the greatest honors of my life, and a moment I will never, ever forget. When I began writing this book, I made a promise to myself that I would tell the truth, the beautiful parts, the painful parts, and everything in between. I poured my heart into these pages and hoped that my story might connect with others in a meaningful way.”

“To see it embraced in this way is beyond anything I could have imagined,” she added. “This moment belongs to so many people. To everyone who believed in me, encouraged me, championed this book, shared it, gifted it, posted about it, came to signings, listened to the audiobook, and recommended it to a friend, thank you. To every single person who chose to spend their time with my story, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

She also thanked fans who reached out and shared that the book “made you feel seen.”

“I am deeply grateful, incredibly humbled, and so aware that achievements like this never happen alone,” she continued. “I will carry this moment with me forever. What an extraordinary blessing it is to be able to share it with all of you. Thank you for helping make this dream a reality.”
