The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Teddi Mellencamp recently had brain surgery for multiple tumors following her cancer diagnosis. After her operation, she told Erika Jayne on her Two T’s in a Pod podcast that The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson had sent her a gift amid their feud.

Teddi co-hosts her podcast with RHOC star Tamra Judge, who’s still on bad terms with Vicki. But it seems like Teddi and Vicki may finally be squashing their beef after the latter’s unexpected message to her post-surgery.

Teddi Was “Shocked” By Vicki Reaching Out To Her Post-Brain Surgery

On Two T’s in a Pod, Teddi said Vicki’s post-op gift included a “[Housewives] coloring book” along with crayons, a Hey Girl candle, restoring body butter, and six pairs of soft socks. But what really touched Teddi was a supportive letter signed by Vicki herself.

It read: “Teddi, we hope you know just how protected you are in prayers and positive energy, too. Without tests, we have no testimonials and your testimony will touch the lives of millions. We hope these things come in handy as you absolutely crush this, sending every ounce of our love.”

Teddi said she was “very gracious” to Vicki’s gesture, just “shocked.” Another layer to the surprise was that Vicki reached out to her while the latter’s friend, Dorit Kemsley didn’t.

“I was like, ‘I haven’t heard from Dorit, but I’ve heard from Vicki Gunvalson,'” Teddi told Erika. “Dorit was one of my best friends and Vicki hates me with a burning passion.” To be fair, Teddi and Dorit’s friendship was already unclear last year.

Back in December 2024, Dorit said she “wouldn’t categorize Teddi and [her] as good friends.” She clarified that she “didn’t say that [they] weren’t friends” either. However, she “didn’t even know up until that point that Teddi was mad at [her]” at that time until Kyle Richards informed her.

Back then, Teddi echoed Dorit’s description of their friendship: “I’m not close with her. Her and I are friends; we’re not close.” Fans have recently pointed out that Teddi seems to be “weaponizing her illness to throw people under the bus.”

Vicki Has “Put Things Aside” Due To Teddi’s Cancer Battle

Teddi is cautiously optimistic about moving forward with Vicki after her warm gesture. “I can’t wait to see [Vicki] in person and say thank you, and see if the beef has gone out the window,” the former said on her podcast. “I want to believe that the beef has gone out the window.”

Speaking with OK! Magazine, a sincere Vicki said she sent Teddi the recovery gifts “because it was the right thing to do” and that “when health comes into play, we put things aside, and it’s truly that simple.”

Vicki also directly addressed Teddi, saying: “I do want Teddi to know I wish her the best. I want her to know I am thinking of her and praying for her and am rooting for her to overcome this.” Well, we’d love to watch their meeting, maybe in another guest appearance on RHOC.

In 2023, Teddi and Vicki faced off during the BravoCon edition of “Squash! That! Beef!” But it seemed like their rift was beyond repair. The latter said she had “no respect” for the RHOBH alum’s insinuations about her character.

Tamra Spilled Vicki’s Negative Thoughts About Teddi

Teddi and Vicki’s feud started when Tamra told her podcast co-host that the “OG of the OC” had described Teddi as “boring.” (It’s not like Vicki’s the first to ever say so).

Vicki has been vocal about her opinions of Teddi. In 2022 alongside Tamra, she told Entertainment Tonight: “I don’t know Teddi Mellencamp, but I don’t like Teddi Mellencamp.”

But things got heated during Vicki and Tamra’s rift and the latter kept throwing her friend under the bus, even accusing Vicki of trying to get Teddi fired from Two T’s in a Pod.

Vicki denied trying to sabotage Teddi’s employment. But the beef kept escalating, with the latter suggesting that the RHOC alum was at the Capitol riots on January 6th after Donald Trump lost the election in 2021.

Vicki told Page Six that she didn’t think Teddi “would stoop so low” and that she had “lost her mind.” In 2023, Vicki made sure fans knew she still didn’t like Teddi during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

While there’s now hope for Vicki and Teddi’s relationship in 2025, Vicki told OK! that until now, “Tamra and [her] aren’t in a good place,” but that she “would’ve done the same thing if she was going through [health issues].”
