The Real Housewives of Miami recently returned for its seventh season with a jam-packed premiere. While many are discussing the feud between Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein, there’s also drama brewing between Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova. Following the first episode, Guerdy took to social media to share her side of the story.

As fans know, Julia, 52, and her wife, Martina Navratilova, 68, adopted two boys. They hosted a Skype call to announce the news to the ladies, but Guerdy’s link didn’t work, leading her to miss the announcement. Later, Guerdy says, when she reached out to Julia to ask about the news, Julia told her to simply wait until the news became public, which upset Guerdy.

Guerdy recently posted a screenshot of her interaction with Julia from the day of the Skype call. It shows her saying, “Hi, are u sending a new link? [It] never worked when I tried it three times.”

Julia replied, “Hi, sorry, my friend, I don’t know what went wrong. We only had one link that everybody stayed on. Sorry you couldn’t get in.” The text goes on to say she had “something amazing” to tell them, but that the news was already out. She also stated that she hoped Guerdy was feeling better after her surgery. 

Guerdy then said, “Oh, ok so I guess I’ll look online for this announcement ?!? k.” Julia replied, “You will understand when you read :):):) my hands are literally full right now, so I am dictating this message :):) but will talk to you soon. xxxxx.”

From there, it seems Guerdy found the announcement and then said, “Congrats.” She used a text overlay to provide a bit of context. It reads, “Mind you, she never told me the news by text or by phone, so she literally made me FETCH the information, and after googling it, I still said CONGRATS.”

Many fans have called out Julia for this beef following the premiere, as it does seem that Guerdy had every intention of joining the meeting. Additionally, Julia appears to have had no excuse for not simply telling her the news over the phone or by texting, or even dictating, as she claims to have done.
