While some 90 Day Fiancé couples are diving headfirst into wedding plans, others are falling apart fast in episode 11. From Sarper Güven threatening to book a flight home to explosive questions still hanging in the air, the drama is reaching new heights during season 11.
90 Day Fiance’s Mahdi Questions Stevi About Her Attraction to Women
After an adorable romantic beach proposal, Stevi and Mahdi were officially jumping into wedding planning. One of Stevi’s biggest concerns was having her father walk her down the aisle as she couldn’t imagine going through the ceremony without him by her side.
“Dad’s been like super sick and he’s going to get sicker,” she told producers. “And it’s important to me that dad does that while he’s here because I want him to be able to give me to someone that he knows will take care of me.”
Mahdi still felt uneasy after his last conversation with Stevi’s father, who, when asked for his blessing, responded with concern about how committed he truly was to his daughter.
Stevi and Mahdi visited her parents to share the exciting news, and they didn’t exactly get the reaction they were hoping for. Stevi’s father was surprised that Mahdi gave her the ring that quickly, telling cameras, he had a “right to be skeptical.”
Stevi’s dad agreed to walk her down the aisle, but with the couple planning to move up their wedding and tie the knot in just two weeks, she was anxious about whether they could pull everything together in time.
“I just hope nothing goes wrong because I’m the one who is just like moving everything up,” the Iran native confessed. “I just hope everything goes right.”
The engaged couple immediately started looking for venues, with the help of Stevi’s friend Claire. As they toured venues, Claire brought up that Stevi once painted her fully nude.
Although Mahdi knew that women would send Stevi topless photos to paint them, he was in the dark about her painting “girls naked in person.”

“She’s giving me bisexual vibes again,” he told the cameras. “Women being together is totally wrong in my culture and I’m not OK with it.”
The couple left the venue right away, with Stevi focused on de-escalating the situation. Meanwhile, Mahdi was upset, feeling like something had been kept from him.
“Right now, I’m just thinking that one, she has kept a secret, she can do it again and she will do it again. And two is I want her to be honest because being bisexual is not OK in my culture,” he said in a confessional. “And it’s not only about my culture, it’s about my brain also. Like I’m really worried about what if after our marriage she says something like, I want something else. I want something you cannot give me.”
Mahdi asked Stevi directly if she was attracted to women, and she reassured him that she wasn’t.
“I want to know before my wedding, before our wedding, that what type of person I’m getting married to,” Mahdi told producers. “If we don’t come to a conclusion or if I just keep getting the vague answer as the previous times, I think we need to postpone the wedding.”
90 Day Fiance’s Alliya Meets Shawn’s Mother and Children
Alliya de Batista and Shawn Finch were headed to what the California resident called their “engagement party” in Sonoma County. The couple packed up to head north, where Shawn said his mother was excited to meet Alliya.
“When I meet his friends and family, I really expect him to speak up and to show that he’s proud of me and our relationship,” Alliya told the cameras. “I want something serious, and I want to live a serious relationship and I want to get married, but I think Shawn need to show me more.”
The couple finally arrived at Shawn’s mother’s house, where Alliya felt warmly welcomed, thanks to the matriarch’s open and accepting nature.
“I have never cared what you’ve done your whole life as long as you’re happy,” his mom told him. “And if you tell me you’re happy, then that’s all that matters.”
Shawn’s mother then asked him if he was “100 percent happy.”

“No, of course not. Like who’s 100 percent happy?” he said, replying with another question. “I’m not expecting 100, but I don’t want to be 60. I think my bigger issues are questions And the hardest part of all of it is, you know, we’ve got the magical 90 days, which 60 days are up, and I don’t know if I can get those answers in 30 days.”
Shawn and Alliya finally made it to their engagement party — though not before Shawn got a little impatient with how long she took to get ready. Once there, the mood shifted as he introduced her to his daughter, Kaila, and son, Patrick, and the guests were all excited to meet her and celebrate the happy couple.
However, one of Shawn’s friends immediately questioned him on why he didn’t tell anyone about his relationship with Alliya.
Shawn blames it on not being a great texter, which another friend immediately slammed as “bulls–t.” They also asked him if he felt he and Alliya’s age difference would be a future issue.
“I have to just trust in my basic Instinct that we are going to be OK at the end of the day,” he told the group.
90 Day Fiance’s Matt Was Worried About Amani’s Relationship With Any
The throuple drama continues. Matt Jlassi was still reeling after Any Aguirre told his wife, Amani Jlassi, that she loved her and not Matt.
Matt FaceTimed his friend Eric, who has also been in a polyamorous relationship, for advice about the situation with his wife and Any.
“I didn’t really talk too much to Amani about it because I don’t, I don’t exactly know what to trust her with,” Matt told his friend. “I just feel like it’s slowly getting away from me. Those two seem like they haven’t figured out between each other, and I just don’t with them yet.”
Eric sympathized with Matt, advising him to speak to Amani about how he felt.
The focus then shifted to Amani, walking along the beach by herself. As she wandered, she inadvertently overheard a conversation between Matt and Eric and she believed her husband was speaking negatively about her.
“I don’t think he’s upset about Any saying what she’s saying. I think he’s upset about me taking this long to just say something about what Amani said on screen.”
Matt met Amani on the beach, who told her, “I can’t accept how that went down. Do you, do you understand why? Like if I told you that your significant other said that she doesn’t love you, what would you do?”
Amani repeated that Any didn’t love him “as much,” but Matt couldn’t shake the feeling that the bond between Amani and Any was growing stronger, leaving him with the sense that he might be pushed aside.
“There’s no relationship without you in it,” Amani reassured him.
90 Day Fiance’s Sarper Threatens to Go Back to Turkey
Sarper was still working to prove to Shekinah Garner’s family that he had truly changed, following her sister Shariah’s trip to Turkey on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.
“Sometimes I say I want old Shekinah back because she was so obedient. I learned it a lot. I’m overreactive guy normally, but I’m a lot more calm right now,” the personal trainer reported, telling them that he and Shekinah try to solve their problems in a “modern way” by talking.
Shariah pointed out that Sarper used to yank things out of Shekinah’s hands, a behavior Sarper acknowledged was wrong. However, he also claimed that many men struggle with anger issues.
“I have a lot to prove to all of you guys,” he admitted.
“They finally gave Sarper a fair chance and now it’s just going to take time, I guess, for them to really believe that he’s a good partner for me and to see that these changes he’s made are really going to stick,” the business owner said of the visit. “There are things that I have also wondered at one time or another about Sarper, you know, like if I can trust him, if he is an honest person, if he will not cheat given his past, and he’s going to have to prove himself on a lot of these things.”
Although they left on a good note, the drama ignited less than one week later when the couple returned to Los Angeles.
“A week after returning from Montana, Shekinah told producers she and Sarper got into a fight,” an overlay card read. “Shekinah shared audio recordings of the argument.”
In the audio, Shekinah can be heard saying that she came home from work, cooked him a meal and he said, “F–k you.”
“F–k this life, OK. I really hate this life. And I’m going back to my country,” he’s heard saying in the audio.
Shekinah revealed that things changed after they returned from Montana and Sarper began treating her “like s–t.”
“Sarper and I are just not even speaking right now,” she told the cameras. “He’s sleeping on the couch and it’s so tense. It’s so awkward.”
Sarper then called his cousin, telling her that Shekinah had been disrespectful, and he was very close to buying a ticket home.
“The next conversation that I will do with her has to be we are OK, but we are changing or it’s over,” he declared. “If I go back to my country, I will burn everything.”
90 Day Fiance’s Greg and Joan Start Wedding Planning
Gregory “Greg” Chillak and Joan Kruchov were still adjusting to living with his mother. Greg’s mother went to speak to the couple about their wedding and noticed that Joan was in the shower.
“I don’t know why somebody needs two showers a day,” she told her son. “Before she goes to bed, she’ll take a shower and then another shower in the morning. I’m like, how dirty is your bed that you need to take another shower?”
Greg’s mother also told him that it would be difficult to host the ceremony at their home and suggested using a “little hall” in which Greg’s sister had her baby shower.
“I want a nice wedding, a beautiful wedding,” Joan said in a confessional. “But the situation we are in, I feel like we can save up that money so that we can get an apartment or save it for the house.”

Greg revealed he had a $5,000 budget for the wedding, which his mother reminded him that it wasn’t much. Joan also reminded Greg that he had to pay a dowry to her parents, which Greg’s mother wasn’t happy about.
“Can you factor in how much, you know, you’re like supporting her every day you go shopping for food and you know, things she needs, and would that be able to be factored in?” she asked, before Joan said that is not the case.
The trio went to check out the venue, where they learned it would cost around $8,900. His mother offered to pitch in $1,000, which Joan appreciated but did not want to become a burden.
“You’re never a burden,” she told them as the three lovingly embraced.
