With the 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 couples getting closer and closer to the recommitment ceremony, where they will need to make the decision to either stay together or break up, they’re continuing to dive deeper into whether their relationships are built to last during episode 9.

‘90 Day Fiance’ Star Julia and Brandon’s Drama-Filled Party Continued

After Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj’s blowup at the pool, Stacey arrived at Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibb’s hotel party without her husband.

“I’m really hoping this toxic cycle can end,” Stacey told the group, admitting she missed “feeling empowered” and hoped to take the power back in her relationship with Florian.

Meanwhile, Julia wasn’t convinced it was a short-term issue, telling producers in a confessional, “I feel like Florian and Stacey have deep problem because Florian doesn’t respect anybody.”

Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo’s relationship issues also took center stage at the party. The Michigan native promptly denied his wife’s sexual advances when asked if they were going to intimate later that evening.

“I’ll tell you what, because we fight every day. Plus, she doesn’t listen to me,” he replied when asked by the group the reason why he didn’t want to sleep with his wife. “We have no emotional connection any longer and I’m not going to.”

Jasmine slammed Gino for “satisfying his sexual needs” with pornography and threatened to step outside their relationship to fulfill hers. “If you cannot give it to me, let me find it in someone else and accept the deal of having an open marriage,” she said.

Gino said he would not “go that route” and encouraged his wife to masturbate instead. “Sounds like we’re not going to be able to be together,” he said as Jasmine walked out of the room in anger.

After some time apart, Gino returned to the hotel room, where Jasmine decided to close the door on him after he knocked on it. Jasmine told Gino that she felt he was more focused on building friendships with the other cast members “instead of fixing his marriage.”

“​​This friendship that you have developed with your brother Florian, you see the way he treats Stacy and all the other women,” she asked. “Now you want to be Florian too?”

Gino denied her claims and brought up the Panama native’s idea of opening their marriage and her having “sex with another guy.”

“Why doesn’t she put her effort into making our relationship work? Or does she not care about a relationship? Does she not love me?” he questioned.

The ‘90 Day: The Last Resort’ Cast Left for an Overnight Trip

The next morning, a letter was slipped under Jasmine and Gino’s door where it detailed that the group would be going on an overnight trip in nature.

“I just wanted to tell you, you know, like if there is any sort of love left, I [need it] to be a good day,” the mom of two pleaded. “I’m about to give up. I’m so drained.”

The men and women were separated into two different cars and Josh Weinstein arrived in a flashy car just minutes before the group was set to depart.

Josh admitted to the group that a fight the night before with Natalie Mordovtseva had him “nearing the end of his rope.”

“I said I was like 1 blow up away from like getting out of here and like we had that blow up,” Josh explained before adding that his costars are what made him pull through for the trip.

The ‘90 Day: The Last Resort’ Couples Do Hypnotherapy

The cast was dropped off in the middle of the desert and was introduced to Sarah, who is described as a “clinical hypnotherapist, a spiritual healer and teacher, and a life coach.”

The couples were instructed to work together as they built a tent, where they would be spending the night. Jasmine made a big deal about ensuring she wasn’t neighbors with Stacey or Florian during the outing.

“The last I want is another fighting argument in order for me to move on from last night,” Stacey agreed. “I definitely need Florian to forget about everyone else. You know somebody wants to make a jab or say something, just let it roll off your shoulder.”

Some couples were more successful than others when it came to building their shelter. Josh and Natalie were able to get their tent up the fastest despite the lingering tension between them. Meanwhile, Jasmine and Gino struggled with their tent as the former educator refused to help.

“I don’t want to help because if I do, it’s just going to create a problem,” Jasmine explained to the therapist. She added, “He thinks he can handle everything on his own.” The therapist cautioned her, however, that it was a two person job, and without her help, she and Gino would end up sleeping outside.

‘90 Day Fiance’ Star Julia Admits She Kissed Another Guy

The couple left their phones behind and headed out in nature for their first hypnotherapy session. Everyone was instructed to hold their arms out and told to “sleep now,” which appeared to put everyone in a trance.

The cast is told to recall a time in which they hurt their partner, with Brandon telling the group about a time he “thought” he was doing a nice thing for Julia. The Virginia native said he purchased a key to their home for his mother without asking Julia, which ultimately caused a fight. He admitted he should’ve to spoken with his wife about the subject first.

Julia’s shocking confession completely overshadowed her husband’s when she admitted to kissing an ex during a time when she and Brandon “almost broke up.” She said it has hurt her for “four years” and didn’t consider it cheating.

“We’re already dealing with so many other things and now the impact that infidelity is going to have on us, I feel like divorce has become a stronger possibility,” Brandon said in a confessional interview. “I’m so angry at Julia.”
