According to sources, Dorit Kemsley is “prepared to put up a fight” with her husband PK Kemsley amid their separation – and they’re “barely on speaking terms,” as Kyle Richards “continues to text” him.

On a past episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle revealed that she texts memes to PK, though she later shared a text that suggested it was more than that. But when Dorit confronted her about it, Kyle hinted that she would stop communication with him.

In another scene, Dorit shared that PK sent her a nine-page “threatening” email. Erika Jayne told her to protect herself, hinting that PK would be “ruthless” in their potential divorce.

Per a source speaking to Life & Style, it seems Dorit listened to Erika’s advice.

“[Dorit’s] been slow to see things for what they are,” said the source. “[But] she’s prepared to put up a fight if it comes to that, and it’s certainly shaping up that way.”

In an interview with In Touch, another source shared that Dorit is angry at Kyle for continuing to communicate with PK.

“Dorit doesn’t think Kyle’s after him or anything, it’s more the principle of the thing,” shared the source. “Dorit finds it intrusive and irritating that Kyle continues to text and talk to PK, asking him how he’s doing and offering advice.”

“As of now, Dorit and PK are still separated and barely on speaking terms, and this isn’t helping, if you ask Dorit,” the insider went on. “She’s confronted Kyle with the warning, mind your own business or else … Kyle doesn’t think she should drop PK as a friend just because of their marital problems, and in her defense, she’s just being a good friend, but it’s got the girls taking sides, and it’s causing major drama behind the scenes.”

On the January 21 episode of the RHOBH: After Show, Dorit shared that PK and Kyle used to talk about her behind her back.

“When [PK and I] were together, I know that when [Kyle] was mad at me, she spoke to PK about being mad at me before she spoke to me,” said Dorit at the time. “But by the way, that wasn’t on text or on phone. That was PK and [Mauricio Umansky] having dinner. This is when Mau and Kyle lived together, PK [was] going back to Mau’s house and bumping into Kyle.”

“It wasn’t something sinister, and we weren’t separated,” she added. “It would be harder to swallow given that we’re separated.”
