Bree Jacoby, currently in a relationship with Rodger Berman, who was previously married to Rachel Zoe, has publicly responded to remarks made by the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills celebrity. These comments surfaced during the latest installment of the Bravo network show.
On Thursday’s episode, Rachel expressed her frustration to fellow cast member Dorit Kemsley about Rodger’s affectionate birthday tribute to Bree on Instagram. Rachel felt his gesture was a ploy for attention, noting with irritation that Bree’s birthday closely followed hers by just three days. Additionally, she took a jab at Bree’s profession as a stylist, a role reminiscent of Rachel’s own career.
Over the weekend, Bree addressed the situation directly via her Instagram Stories, accusing Rachel of exhibiting “mean girl” behavior. Bree, who has been with Rodger for nearly two years, emphasized her weariness of being used as fodder for Rachel’s narrative on the show.
“With many friends reaching out, I want to clarify,” shared Bree on April 11. “My birthday is actually September 2, just a day after hers—not three. We’ve been together for almost two years. I’m more than a stylist; I’m a businesswoman who happens to style. But hey, you do you. Respect.”
Later, Bree added, “Leave me the f–k alone… What’s so insane? You did not want to be married and said it yourself you wish you left 7 years ago. You’re acting like a jealous woman. Get a new story line. I’m not going anywhere. So get used to it.”
Bree went on to call Rachel a “great actor” and stated she is “sick of her story line.”

In a separate post, Bree defended Rodger.
She wrote, “I actually don’t care about anything other than the kids and my relationship. I wish her the best and to find love and happiness.I would be a modern family. But she can’t do it. It’s very sad. But that’s her own issue. We are better than the drama. But I’m really getting tired of this portraying of him and of me. It’s not true. Rodger is an incredible father might I add. And an incredible boyfriend. Best human.”
She then accused Rachel of not being able to take accountability.
“The issue is that she takes zero accountability for her own behavior and is absolutely awful to me (calls me trash). Bad press is good press so keep talking. But if you’re gonna talk. At least be a woman and talk to me direct,” wrote Bree. “Like I said – I ain’t going anywhere. See ya at the bar mitzvah.”
Finally, Bree, who stated that Rachel “blocked” her once she started dating Rodger, suggested the renowned stylist has “mean girl energy.”
“Let’s normalize canceling mean girl energy,” stated Bree. “Sis, if you’re over 30 and still got it, go to therapy or meditate. Touch grass, heal. It’s not cute.”
During a February appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Rachel admitted that Rodger wasn’t happy with some of the comments she’s made about him on the RHOBH.
“He’s not thrilled. But I also think people are telling him, his friends or whatever, look, anything that I said is really how I felt in the moment, and things were happening in real time this summer, and there’s a lot I don’t share,” she shared.
And although their divorce has not yet been finalized, Rachel confirmed it would be settled “soon” as she insisted the split was amicable.
“It is. Because ultimately we want what’s best for the kids,” she explained.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
